A big performance improvement also is the Ford cut and clamp x pipe. The factory chambered hybrid h pipe really holds the car back. Once I changed to the x pipe, the car didn’t feel held back anymore when accelerating.
I liked the Nitto 555 G2 on my 2013. At first I thought "not good though this time of year" and then noticed you are in Louisiana. We have snow here in Michigan and they would not be good here.
Is there a problem with these cars leaking coolant at the back of the intake? A coolant crossover or something?
If there's a coolant leak in that area, it's probably from the heater hose assembly that runs in the engine valley under the intake manifold.
Is that a common problem?
It's a problem that all S197s will face at some point because the heater hose assembly will eventually degrade. You can prolong its life (and the life of other cooling system components) by replacing the coolant at the recommended intervals with the correct concentrate plus deionized water. NEVER use tap water unless you need to temporarily replenish the cooling system in an emergency situation.
