Headed to VIR with NASA Mid-Atlantic next weekend, then to CMP with NASA SE in May. Might also hit VIR North with THSCC. Anyone here run with these groups?

I run with NASA Mid-Atlantic often. I will be there next weekend in HPDE 3. I will be in a blue Super Snake number 235. I have an enclosed trailer with huge Harley stickers on it. Stop by and say hi. The Mid-Atlantic group is pretty cool. I run Road atlanta with NASA Souteast last December and enjoyed that group too. I also ran with the Tarheel group at VIR last year. They were ok too. Not quite as formal as NASA, with the focus on fun more than moving into competition. Which was cool with me. I am going to Summit Point the weekend that they run the VIR North Course, primarily because I dont want to run the North Course. Otherwise, I would have run that event because it is closer to home by a bunch.

Sounds good! I'll be in a White 07 GT in HPDE3, #95; My buddy will be breaking his track cherry in an orange Mach, #01. We'll look for ya!

Performance Autosport will also be at the track if you guys need anything, just check with us in the Tech shed. It looks to be a fun weekend if we can get all of these cars finished.

Going to the SVTOA Superfest on Memorial Day weekend. http://www.svtoa.com/svtoaforums/showthread.php?14496-2012-SVT-Superfest

Have to be a member of SVTOA, svtcobraclub.com or trackclubusa.com. Looks like a great event with major Ford SVT/Ford Racing participation. Hope to meet some of you guys there!
Steve

I did this event last year and it was GREAT!! I plan on doing it again this year. I am trying to recruit all my Mustang friends into going. It is a very important event for Mustanger's. If you like the old Shelby's and don't live near Monterey, Carlise or someplace like that, you will see more of them than you ever have. You will also see some of them on the track which is very cool.

If you havent figured it out, I HIGHLY recommend this to all of you(especially the ones who live w/in 8 hours of the track). You have the rest of Sunday and Monday(it's a holiday) to drive/trailer home. So come on out with your Stang and have fun with us!

This weekend we had multiple forum members at VIR and it was a lot of fun. Let's have even more in May.

Yeah I've definitely fallen in love with VIR. Even if it did bite me a little bit ;) I don't think I could ever grow tired of it. It rivals Infineon (Sears Point) in its flow, and Buttonwillow in its "home-track" appeal. Curious what kinda times I could put down with better tires, but I'm happy with the results for now.

knownukes - Great meeting you there! Wicked car, too. Glad to see it used as intended!

If any of you guys ever make it down to Road Atlanta, give me a shout. I run with just about every group that goes there since it's only 10 miles away and I'd rather do an extra weekend than travel to another track.

Cheers!
