Thats perfect, I know a guy that barebacked anally a nyc prostitute. He didn't get shit but that doesn't mean that I would recommend it.

Again I don't give a shit, penzoil is garbage and so is Mobil1! I would rather run vegetable oil in my engine than run those piece of shit oils.

Alright. I'll run pennzoil for 5000 miles and you run vegetable oil for 5000 miles and whoever still has a working engine at the end wins.

Mattr89;1333343 It's idiotic? How so? Did you see my engines and thr smoke or loss of oil? Nope so shut the hell up I know what I have seen.[/QUOTE said:
Yea I don't know what I was thinking....royal purple saved your cracked piston broken ring engine and everything else smoked or burnt. Some people geez. I think I am going to start pissing in bottles and call it an energy drink....id make billions.

Stroker that is a very very very heavy oil... Have you tried 10w40 atleast?

Do an oil analysis or if you can post your clearances.

Number 1 rule of lubrication, you want to use the thinnest lubrication that gets the job done.

We use 20w50 in our 94 5.0... but it's a road racer with a real loose engine (ChumpCar) and lives between 4 to 6k all the time.... Texas heat as well.

have you done an oil analysis to see? What is the oil pressure and temp? For example i'd run 10w40 on a g500 engine. Dont know what ford was thinking with that 50 weight recomendation. 50 weights i'd stick for road races and a real real real real loose engine with high oil temp

No analysis.... But i will get that done after this next 24 hour race in May. We don't have an oil temp gauge but will be installing.
But after 8-10 hours of running the car the oil pressure drops a good 10-20psi (starts the race at 40-50psi). We have a big oil cooler and 7qt. Moroso road race pan.
The drop in pressure is probably cause the motor is soooo loose... I know we burn some off ...hell It's a lemon/chump car after all. The current ohv 5.0 has 96+ hours of 24 hours endurance road racing on it ;)

Water temps remain at about 210-220 all race.

I have not done an analysis, I have a .030 rod side clearance for example to move the oil and keep the bearings cooler. The 10w30 showed lower oil psi at warm idle before and the 20w50 raised the oil psi at warm idle. I am going to do some testing on this subject on the new motor.

Main reason I even looked into this thread was the excessive wear I am getting on the coating of the pistons skirts. If the oil is to heavy it may not sling as it should and if to thin not be there for the start up. I do have a stroker motor though, and this is an issue most strokers deal with.

What are your revs? Remember a stroker engine has higher piston speeds.

As for not being there at the start up, you know a 0w-x and a 10w-x will have the same viscosity at 60F.

Either way you guys have to do an Oil Analysis, that will take out all your guesswork and tell you if the oil is holding up or no.

If you are running 24 hours then you do need a heavy oil. What make are you running?

Grimace, next time we have my car on the lift, perhaps we can go forward with trying the BG. I chose the RP out of convenience and curiousity and have had no problems - but it would be interesting to do a direct comparison with another fluid.

We could if you are really curious. It might be a wash if you can't feel any differences. Maybe if you get a clutch line and shifter we can do it all at once.
