Well hopefully. The fact it was fine earlier and not fine now is just so frustrating. I'm gonna pump the clutch a bizzillion times tomorrow morning.

I feel like I don't wanna drive it since I can barely get it into gear once it starts doing it

Did you install a new slave cylinder? Also did you take measurements to make sure you had proper engagement with the slave when you set it up? I had to install a shim behind my slave cylinder with my twin disc ACT clutch.

I did not install a new slave no. I might either have to buy a new one or put a shin behind it depending. It drove fine tonight but still feels like it wants to engage a little. This is getting old quick

My RST was causing my car to do this exact issue. Bad floater plates warped when hot and cause the clutch to drag with the pedal engaged.

I'm sure you have posted this info but what clutch are you using?

This is what it says. It's not a name brand, American powertrain has this company make clutches for them

I'm gonna buy a rubber stop and a t for my hand pump bleeder and do it that way. I also read in another forum that jacking the car up 8-10 inches on the driver side then pumped the clutch would allow large air bubbles to surface easier. I'll keep you guys updated on any new cuss words I've came up with in the morning.

I was t able to put a rubber stop its it today and try it with a hand pump, but I did jack the car up 8 inches or so and pumped the clutch super slow, was up there for close to 10 minutes and still nothing changed at all. I'm starting to think I wasn't meant to have a magnum xl

Did you prefil the slave valve during install and change the pilot bearing? How does it sound when shifting and with the clutch depressed and then released? Does any action change the sound or feel?

Nothing changes it. What's so odd is yesterday I pumped it and all of a sudden it felt great and it shifted GREAT for 30-45 minutes then it randomly went to shit again.

I think so. This morning when I get off I'm going to by a rubber stopper or something to block air and drill a hole to put my bleeder tube thru it and bleed it that way. I'm getting about damn tired of not enjoying my $4400.00 transmission kit

Use a vacuum pump! Problem solved.
Auto zone has a complete kit for 35 bucks that has everything needed to bleed this system. Including brakes. And all accomplished from the master cylinder.

My local O'reilys is lacking and doesn't have anything but a brake pump but nothing to bleed from top of reservoir. Hopefully I've bought enough to make it work

Don't you need to apply vacuum at the caliper end to bleed brakes?

On brakes you need to be sure your calipers have been bled and full of fluid. But let's say you just change a hose and don't drain the fluid from your calipers. Then it's much easier to bleed with vp at the MC.

The slave cylinder is no different. If it's dry you won't be able to bleed effectively from the MC, bench bleed or fill and pump first. Then vp to 8-10" of vacuum. I usually let vacuum stay for 3 min. and repeat 3 times pumping brakes/clutch a couple times between each.
The thing about this is on these cars you bleed brakes and clutch at the same time.

I held 20" of vacuum on the master cylinder, I've tried jacking the car up 8-10 inches and doing the same thing followed by pumping the clutch for five minutes and repeating all that 3 times. Nothing has made it change what so ever so what American powertrain and Jpc are telling me is that I can try putting my stock clutch plate on with this clutch disk and see if that fixes the problem. Would there be anything wrong with running the stop clutch plate?

Also... I noticed a very obvious drivetrain vibration (really violent) and I'm assuming it's more than likely the rear end side of the driveshaft and the way I installed it. Is this common? It's a slip yolk style on the rear end
