Only supposed to be in the mid-50s tomorrow at Maryland International Raceway's test and tune. Will be there bright and early when the gates open at 9am. Hoping for my 12.10--12.20.

Took 3 runs, hooked hard in the 1.6-1.7s, but couldn't eek out better than 12.6 each time. We had a strong, direct head wind, and I had a half tank of gas, instead of the usual 1/8th, but the car just got "flat" at the halfway point. I'll post timeslips up tonight, but I'm beginning to think given the consistency that this is all the car has in it without something more to add power or lose some more weight. Or maybe something in t he tune. Too many folks though with similar mods AND NO CAMS doing the same or better though...

1.6-1.7 60's I would definitely think you'd be running low 12's with the cams! My 12.57 run was with only a 1.85 60ft. The only weight reduction I did to the car was removed the spare and passenger seat. I think I saw your name on the list for the superstallions on another forum, are you going? I'll be there looking to hook up better and possibly hit a 12.4! I'd like to hear your car with the cams, let me know if you're going.

With the weight reduction, drag suspension, 60 foot times, cams and other mods, yeah, you'd think I'd be sitting at 12.00-12.20 like other folks with similar mods. Time to start thinking the next mod is a better driver to see if it's me. Anyhow, here are the slips (car 904). And yeah, I'll be at Superstallions. I won't have my light weight Bogarts yet, but that's something for next spring I guess:

Scott told me you where there. Wish I got there sooner.

Don't be too let down. You are 1/2 sec faster than me and I am only 16 whp less. I just can't break out of this 13.1 rut...we won't talk about todays numbers... LOL

Are you power shifting or granny shifting? I noticed I get better times granny shifting, but the tires tend to spin a tiny bit between gears.

Got on the scales today. With me in it...3975, yuk. Time for a diet.

Crap! I meant to weigh the car with me in it and forgot.

I just shift really really fast. When power shifting I actually seem to do worse too. Not sure what's up with that since I can powershift away in our Fox bodies.

The car felt great out of the hole and just went flat after. That's been the general consensus all f***ing year. It's like it runs out of steam. I really need to data log this and start thinking about a new tune.

What are your mods?

To give you an idea I was running 13.65 bone stock.
13.25 with a C&L Street intake and Diablosport Predator 93 Octane tune
12.95 with the addition of BFG Drag Radials 275/40 17
12.85 with the addition of Steeda U/D Pullies
12.69 with the addition of JBA Longtube Headers and Catted H
12.46 with the addition of 4.10 gears.

Here is a copy of the 12.46 timeslip.
Don't try comparing mph since ours is always wrong.
You have much better 60' than me but my 1/8 mile times are better.
I never screwed with the tune at all. I just ran it the way it came out of the box.
Our temps on the 12.46 run were similar to yours. Our altitude is 80' above sea level.

I'd have to go back and compare dates on orders for parts vs dates on time slips, but I don't think my car was performing quite that good mod for mod. My best bone stock was a 13.9 on street tires March 2006 for example. Performance mods as follows:

-Exhaust-
Mac axleback muffler
JBA h-pipe
JBA titanium coated longtube headers

-Engine-
C&L cold air intake with custom SCT XCAL2, 93 octane
Comp Stage II cams (#127300, used to be stage IIIs)
Steeda underdrive pullies

-Drivetrain-
Spec II+ clutch
Spec steel flywheel
Spydershaft Aluminum driveshaft
Lakewood front driveshaft loop
FRPP 4.10 gears
MGW shifter

-Suspension-
BMR strut tower brace
BMR boxed lower control arms and relocation brackets
BMR adjustable upper control arm
BMR tubular k-member
BMR radiator support/front swaybar delete bracket
BMR Xtreme Antiroll Bar
QA-1 adjustable race shocks
Steeda springs

-Wheels and Tires (Track)-
17" Bullitt Wheel replicas (17x9")
Mickey Thompson 275/40-17 ET Street Radials (26") or

-Other-
S&S A-pillar dual gauge pod
Autometer DPSS shift light
Autometer water temperature gauge
Lightweight rear seat delete

With that mod list I would say you should be able to pull off a 12.0.
Why no CMRC Deletes?
I was never in the 1.6x 60' times N/A

John should be closer to 12.2, It's got to be the tune, I mean I have half the mods and I ran a best today 12.389 @ 107. My car too early in the morning seemed to go flat at about 3/4 the way. it picked up after some tune chages. I lost atleast 2mph in the trap, from previous runs, could have been due to the 25 mph head wind.
My car weighed in at 3630 with driver (220) 3410 car weight.
