Yeup it finally happened , Ive been out of the picture for awhile been working hard , and had my Foxbody at MAK Performance getting a ton of work done. My buddy Willie Diaz did the entire bottom of the car , new suspension , brakes , wheels and tires, Welded the body seems and upper and lower torque boxes. He also undercoated the entire bottom . We removed all the fuel injection went to a carb , new Magnafuel Quickstar 300 pump with regulators . New Proflow Nitrous single stage plate with burst panels . The car came out beautiful.
Showed the car to another good friend of mine who taught me alot thru the years , and built alot of my previous cars . He came over to the house loved the foxbody and then asked me if I would sell the 07 .
So after 10 minutes of thinking about it I said ok sure but you need to buy all the rest of the things I have for my rebuild which He did . This car when finished is going to be crazy fast . But thats another story down the line.
So after selling the 07 I went and bought a 2012 EcoBoost F150 SuperCrew FX2. It didnt stay stock for long maybe 10 hrs , we did a custom 4" SS Exhaust , and MAK made a custom Y-Pipe which we installed today basically Ive had the truck 2 weeks . Sounds awesome you can hear the turbo's whistle at start up and as you get in the gas .
Superchips has a nice tune up in it , but as soon as Diablo gives me the go we will be taking the truck to them and re-tuning the truck .
As far as the foxbody goes , will be building a bad azz small block with Steve from Progressive 374ci stroker 12.5.1 on E85 with a 250 SHOT. Hopefully she should run in the mid 8s.
