turbo gt about to go fast
you would need to get rid of them and use your stock manis. they are the best and get them high temp coated inside and out. they hold in more heat then any shorty header.
Someone who is adept in bending pipes... Honestly, I had the L/T's, and I'm taking them off and putting in the stock shorties and I still ended up making back some money and helping out another forum memberso what would I need to make this kit work with LT's
I will!cant wait to see how your kit comes out antonio, i have been eyeing this kit for the past month or so, my only concern is how low some of the pipes seem to hang. seeing as you have the same suspension setup as me im curious to see how it all works out for you. keep us updated!

the stock manis are better. you keep in more heat which makes more power and that is what the turbo loves. the flow pretty damn good i am making 707 on 16psi on 93 octane with them all i did to them is powder coat them inside and out.
you want see any gains from the shorties. i have seen them on a car and the same car with the stock manis
I didnt say i was gonna gain anything. Just my preference.
I know there's a few people here with this kit. I'm looking for a decent picture of how the maf is routed on a stock kit. Did you have to buy a maf housing at extra cost? Are you extending the wires or using a mafia?
the turbo will spool up slower. not sure how much slower but slower.
Plus they look better too![]()
Would it hurt (or help) anything to have the cold side stuff that you can see under the hood powdercoated black? I don't want much shiny stuff under my hood...
I guess that question would apply to whatever hotside stuff including the turbo housing deally too (yeah, i'm that technical).... not sure what color(s) the coatings you guys are talking about come in...
