Have basically decided to sell and buy a C5Z.

In the meantime, I'm replacing front coilover spring from 390lbs/in to 325lbs/in

If your referring to the Shelby GT500? The reason Ford does not recommend running the tires below 40 degrees or in snow/ice conditions, is the "OEM" tires equipped on all Shelby GT500 models are maximum performance summer tires only. All Mustang V6 and GT models come factory equipped with all season tires.

Performance tires have a low durometer reading.( they are soft/sticky) Below 40 degrees soft tires become brittle. They do not grip and will throw chunks trying. They also weather check/crack when exposed to cold temps.

It looks like the factory had some Shelby tires left over and installed them on your GT. The warning sticker is required for those tires. Most performance tires do not grip well when cold. This is one reason why there are so many “Mustangs and coffee “ videos. People don’t realize pulling out of a parking lot with cold tires and trying to show off doesn’t work well. Unless you’re prepared for it.

I'm assuming that all 4 tires were 255/45/18" which were the stock front tires for the 2007-10 Shelby GT500. Otherwise the rear tires in 285/40/18" for the GT500 would've caused fitment issues for the stock Mustang GT wheels in 18x8.5" sizes

And I found out that those are the widest tires I can mount with my tire machine. :(

Swapped the front coilover springs from 390lb to 325lb, softened the front bar, installed adjustable end links and softened the rebound all around.

Car is now setup for a "flat ride" and it is amazing.

Seems like no one will let me sell the Mustang. I guess I'm "stuck with it" lol.

These are what 275,000 mile 3 valve CMCV plates look like. After a sea foam bath and some cleaning with a small wire wheel attachment on my Dremel tool they cleaned up nicely. I didn't really feel like spending the extra cash on delete plates or messing with my tune because the car has run perfectly for years. There have been a couple recent threads on leaky coolant tube o-rings. Here is a pic of the mod I did a couple years ago that has held up just fine. Ignore the fluid in the valley. That is spilled fuel from when I removed the fuel rails.

Got the last bits of the Vortech kit installed, hooked up the firewire cable, loaded Lito's baseline tune and fired her up.
Everything looked good at idle so now I have to figure out how to datalog.
