What have you done to your mustang today?

Drove it around and greased up some bushings in the rear end. I think I have a squeak coming from the side of my PHB that I can't get to with my current hose. Womp womp. I need to flip it.

Coilovers and aftermarket suspension is back on finally. Feels nice to have a.) A decent set of wheels/tires under the car and b.) a more precise handling car again.

The new 550lbs/in front springs and 275lbs/in springs have made a noticeable difference in b.) and the ride isn't too bad. Over most roads it is still firm but not harsh, over larger bumps the head toss is a bit... much but it's workable for a DD. I will say this is the UPPER end of the spring rates for a DD. Anything more spring rate wise out back is going to be punishing. The fronts aren't too bad.

Has a lot to do with the fact that 2 wheel bump on a live axle adds the rear spring rates together so my effective rear spring rate in 2 wheel bump is 550lbs/in... compare that to the OEM 280... hell, I almost have more spring rate in ONE spring out back than the entire OEM setup has in 2 wheel bump.

Anyway it was a positive change and a spirit lifter. I'm so sick of winter and it looks like we are almost out of the woods.

No pictures because honestly, it looks the same as it did last year... for obvious reasons. So stealthmode, only the ModdedMustangs sticker and the Cortex Racing sticker give away what lies under the stock looking exterior! I might try and get some pictures tomorrow.

Finally installed the new RTR paint-to-match panel, to go with yesterday's install of the MMD tail light trim and the tint for the centers of the tail lights:

Finally got the axles, c clip eliminators and the new 4:10s installed.

It was not fun times.

Glued down the flapping pleather door panels finally. They have been bubbled up for a while but yesterday the top pulled out on the driver's side and I'm not going to drive around in a car with the door panels falling apart.

With c-clip eliminators you can now run bigger calipers without knock back issues?

Does it require 9" rear end upgrade?

The rattling was from the top of the valve covers. There was a new sound at start up that started about a month ago. I figure the broken guide caused the new sound.
