Recently did UPR hood pins and the Hurst short shifter.

Now trying to figure out my UPR catch can. Not fitting where it's supposed to go. Wondering if I got a wrong wrong mount bracket. Sucks I ordered this thing years ago. Will go back to UPR to ask questions. Ugh

My son picked up a cheap 06 GT. To say it needs some rear end work as an understatement. Looks like they lost a pinion bearing and then it all went downhill from there. Pretty heavily ground out pig casing

Are you going to rebuild?

I have a 3:55 R&P that only has about 10k miles on it. I took it out of my 05 and packed it away. You’ll need a bearing kit.

Trying to buy a takeout rear axle assembly. Supposedly have one being shipped here locally today. Went to buy two separate axles nearby both of them turned out to be 7.5s not eight. 8.8.

Been chasing HE pump issues. Finally broke down so I bought a new 2013 HE pump for a GT-500; pulled the entire wiring harness that feeds it and replaced all of the connections; new high current power wire; cut and resoldered everything; shrink tubed everything; put it back together and bench tested it. Seems to run fine now. IAT's around 98 today for incoming air at the entry point to the blower and 123 compressed which is about right (about 20 - 23 deg temp difference for uncompressed vs compressed air) so will run it for the time being. Easy to tell if the HE pump is not working IAT's on the compressed side jump about 40 - 50 degrees compared to ambient.

Installed BMR relocation brackets. Ride feels planted, and a bit smoother. Yes, it needs cleaned and painted. Will do that after upper control arm and bracket (BMR)0ED3FE2A-10BD-4FED-BE3D-71154A36551C.jpeg3A31C4A2-63C7-4772-849C-D13B3A7186E5.jpeg0ED3FE2A-10BD-4FED-BE3D-71154A36551C.jpeg

Spray some Rustoleum Rust Reformer on those rusty bits, it’ll come out great.
