I reused all my stock stuff including gaskets. No need to put any silicone on the exhaust ports. Yes it is overkill.

13mm flexhead ratcheting box wrench will save you hours of frustation. Best $12 you will ever spend. A pair of gloves will save a pint or two of blood loss.......seriously. Use carpet and or cardboard under your car to reduce the aches and pains cause by climbing under there 100+ times. You will need a breaker bar to get the steering bolt out. The nut is welded on, you have to remove the bolt from the top.

I reused most of the stock manifold hardware except in a couple of spots were clearence was fubar. Took me all weekend with help but could do it easy in a day now after learning how.

Well I got it done after hrs of pain lol. I reused all stock bolts and gaskets except two, they would not fit with the stainless works headers so I used two of their supplied bolts. I feel like I got hit by a bus today because I am so sore from doing the install lol. I did have a flex head ratchet, I wish I had the foresight to get the flex head ratcheting wrench, that would've helped a lot. Everything went back together perfectly, no knocks or leaks anywhere, only issue is the OTA pipe is rattling against the panhard brace. I consider that a win in my book lol. I will fix it later this week when I install my Steeda springs

If I had to do it again, I would purchase my LTs, and my BMR K-member and change them at the same time. Once that k-members out the LT install would be a breeze, then install the new k-member. Do both in about 6 hours at the most doing it this way.

Actually I didn't feel like the k member was really in my way... Or maybe I just didn't realize how big the k member was and it was the only thing in my way lol, not really sure now that I think about it. There was definitely something in my way though lol. The car itself?

Before the 3v seen I was all on the sn95 deal and those are a breeze compared to lt's on a 3v but the bbk's are much easier than the American racing, pypes, ect lt's they are just a bitch simple as that

Did anyone break the ground ring on the passengerside motor mount bracket? The one right behind the AC compressor.

I snapped mine right in two cause it was stuck on the threads of the bolt.

No, mine was actually very easy, once I broke the bolts loose anyways lol

the k member isn't the pain, it's the motor mounts,

The biggest issue for me was getting the wrench on most of the headers bolts, and the starter was a little bit of a pain too. But there was a couple of the header bolts I was using a ratcheting wrench on that I literally had to tighten one click at a time. The stainless works headers slid right into place pretty easily though. Motors mount were almost no problem for me, I made sure to go through the wheel wells whenever convenient

I usually sit down with an assortment of wrenches / sockets / bends / extensions / extensions that you can get half on, lol

That happened to us when we did JJ's header install. It was a bitch getting up in there to solder another ring terminal on there.
