Wyld I am so sorry you lost your friend. I cant imagine how awful that feeling is. From the other post it said he rides motocross for a living, thats amazing. The pics of his car before the accident are amazing, it was a beautiful ride. It would be nice if you could share something about or a story of Malachi's life with us. We all are feeling some of your pain, good luck man and hopefully Kyle will come through. There is a lot of love on this forum.....and we feel for you dude. Good luck brother...

Well to start off... Kyle had a specialist look at his back today. He will be able to walk again which is amazing. He had 8 different surgeries today from 1pm all the way until 8pm. He is having a little trouble breathing but hopefully its nothing too serious.

My friend Malachi was never one to brag, or rub anything in anyones face. He traveled the world for 6 months out of the year ridding his dirt bike doing what he loved. He was a loving person and had TONS of friends. He honestly didn't have a single enemy. He has driven to California to pick me up a few times on his own dime. He would have done anything for any of his friends. I was blessed to have such an amazing person like him in my life. He was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back. That was and always will be my best friend.

Condolences for the departed.

The gentleman that survived is going to have a long recovery. I wish him the best and hope/pray that he has the inner strength to fight through the times ahead to regain his life.

It is amazing how quickly and seemingly randomly ones life can be changed by one decision or bad luck. I have been there, but not to the extent of this.

Quoted for truth. I have been there to, but also not to this extent---also it was easier for me as I was the only one involved. I turned it into a huge positive (in my opinion) over 3 years.

Hang in there man. I lost my best friend back in 2001. He was 27 years old. We knew each other since we where 4 years old. Alls I have now is memories, and I cherish everyone of them. We will hang out again some day, but for now, I try to live my life to the fullist, and try not to take it for granted. As more time goes on for you, it will get easier to accept that he is gone. But it will take time. Hold on to the memories bro..

For Kyle, great news under the circumstances. Any head injuries?

Malachi sounds like he was a great guy doing what he loved to do. Sounds like he will be missed by many.

This really saddens me....I literally felt sick while reading and looking at the pics. I never met Malachi in person but I talked with him on here many times and considered him a friend. We had talked about getting together and riding bikes if/when he came to Georgia this summer. I will say a special prayer for his family and friends as well as Kyle tonight. R.I.P. Malachi...

Kyle has no head injury's thankfully. He does however remember everything which is a good and bad thing. I was told he already has a nurse that he is dating.

Yea, seven hours laying there cannot be a good memory.

I just got back from San Antonio, where I was doing a job yesterday and today. I found out on Fri. that an old friend I have not seen in a long time was there in the Brooks Military Med Ctr. after being transferred from London to Germany and then to San Antonio TX. I went to see him last night. He is SF Army and was in London when he was in a civilian vehicle on and was in a head on collision. They were both doing about 50 mph when they collided. He has a broken foot, broken right tib and fib, broken left fib, and nasty pelvic fracture. They say he will be off his feet for 3 mo and at least 6 mo to a year of rehab.

Then on the way back tonight from there a lady decided to change lanes at 75 mph right into the side of my trailer! Only minor damage and no one was hurt but, man really make you stop and think!
