Plug Gap

When I arrived at the track today I though to myself that I should change my plugs since I was trying for a new PB. Well I did, with some new plugs I had gaped to .030. I am tuned and normally run a .032 gap.

Just in case anyone thinks plug gap doesn't make a difference!

Also notice the time difference and the result from the motor being cooler from the time it sat while I changed the plugs.

EDIT!!!!! I feel I need to correct my self here. I actually gaped the wrong plugs from the garage. The plugs in the slower runs where not gaped at .030 but rather at fac settings which as best I can tell was at .035+. That would make a lot more sense as to why the car slowed after the install. Just an FYI as I don't want the bad info here. Sorry for the bad info.

I dont even worry about the reaction time right now. I sit there till I want to leave. LOL RTs are for racing, I just want to go fast for now!

A post on FB tonight reminded me of something. I remember when I started my build thread I had mentioned to Don W that I wanted to 9.9x on my 20" drs and everyone was like, " Okay, good luck with that", and my mind was made up. The members here have brought this madness to my plate and I will deliver! LOL
