Just finished the longblock. The timing was actually way easier then I thought it would be. If anyone wants detailed step by step instructions on anything, lemme know, I'll post it up.

I ended up using a combination of the shop manual and Comp Cams instructions to get all the timing components on. You set the left and right bank cams position IAW the instructions, and attempt to slide the VCT/Cam gears in position with the tensioner NOT installed. You can tweak the position with a wrench on one of the cams, there are flats specifically for this purpose. Once both cams are indexed to each other correctly, you can install the secondary chain tensioner, and just slide them on. This way you wont have to deal with getting the chain onto the tensioner and trying to line the cams up. Once they were on, I installed the Comp Limiters.
I had all new hardware and torqued them and added the required degree of rotation:
After you have both banks installed, its time for the main timing chains starting with the left bank. Align one dark chain link with the timing mark on the crank gear (NOT the keyway) and the other one with its respective mark on the VCT's. Use the "L" mark on the left bank, and "R" on the right, both marks are present on each gear, so make sure to use the proper one.
Once you have verified everything is lined up, pull your pins and your done. I gave the engine a complete revolution to expand the tensioners fully and make sure everything was tracking correctly.
