I called the sales manager today to have him check on mine since I have not heard anything in 2 weeks (was told a couple days). He said its been pulled and most likely being built. But no ETA date yet. Is that normal if its only been 2 weeks since they submitted it to Ford? Even though it still says "in Processing". Wouldn't it say being built?

If it is being built, it would say, "Sent to Plant." The next status would be something related to them loading it on a train.

So my sales manager does not know what he is talking about? Thats cool. I picked the wrong dealership for the process I see. My dad works there and I asked for my order # today so I can check the status myself. Apparently the guy was "too busy". Id be surprised if they even ordered it

"Processing" I think is the status just before "Sent to Plant," but since this is a new model year, it can be there for a few weeks if it wasn't assigned a high priority. "Processing" is the usually longest wait on the orders, once it is "Sent to Plant," it is usually a gravy train from there.

I would probably say it needs to go to plant two weeks before Thanksgiving, at the latest, if you want it before Dec. 1.

Finally started getting them yesterday and today. Took one out for a spin and I absolutely love it. The interior dimensions are hugely improved over the s197.

Have you checked with your dealer? I ordered mine on 10-3 and got the vin exactly 2 weeks later
