I have a 2007 Mustang GT w/ built engine, high flow heads, cams, etc. I've been running a Whipple Gen I 2.3 for years but it's way beyond maxed out on the built engine. I get right at 700 rwhp on e85 with my setup but want to kick it up. I already have return fuel and a built 4R70W.... just need more power haha

I'm looking to get as close as I can to 900rwhp on e85.

I would like to know what combos people are running to get there or close to there. I'd be happy with anything over 850rwhp.

Get the S&H twin turbo kit. Jeremy was way over 850 on a conservative tune, there was a lot left in it. Bobby is over 1000 on his.

This would be my choice. You already have a PD setup and it would be pretty simple to upgrade to this.

Going from PD to turbos, you might have to change more than you would think.

Oh and I can speak to this personally. I went from the Saleen SC to the S&H Turbo kit. It was a bit of a pain to get all the SC related parts sold and all the right new stuff purchased. It was however worth the trouble. I went from 600rwhp to 840rwhp. :)

If you do decide to go Turbo make sure whatever kit you purchase is as complete as possible. It will save you a lot of trouble as it did with my S&H kit.

Dept. Of Boost R-Spec w/3.4 Whipple (check with Jason, I think a 4.0 might even fit for well over 1000)

S&H Twin Turbo (Bobby is well over 900 to the wheel on pump gas)

Kenne Bell 3.2 (I wasn't aware this was available until the past few weeks, 2.8 was biggest but they've stepped it up)

Choose your poison.
Just pray you have the motor to take it.

Using E85 you'll probably have to bump your injectors up and upgrade your fuel pump to a triple, if you don't already have that.

Heat factory and belt problems.

Heat was the biggest thing I hated about my Saleen SC. Not uncommon to see 140 to 170 after a pull and that's injecting meth. With the S&H kit I don't see IAT's over 110 after repeated runs. That's at roughly the same ambient.

I don't know if there's enough data out there to say the 3.2KB will generate high iats on 3v especially spinning it less than 13000.

Whipple 3.4 would be great for sure. For the record my Whipple 2.3 is a heat monster at 18000rpm. ... but it's not really meant to spin that fast.

Getting in touch with s&h soon but we have emissions testing here and that may be a problem with a turbo if both cats aren't in place.

It the same IC as the 2.6 and 2.8, which is not adaquite for those AT ALL. I owned a 2.6. It's a disaster. Worst I have ever seen. Even at low blower speeds. The 3.2 will be worse in the long run because it can make more boost. And boost=heat, doesn't matter what speed the blower is spinning.

Your Whipple IC is a lot better than the KB stuff. My KB at 18,000rpm was useless. My buddies 2.3 Whipple runs a lot cooler at the same speed.

Once we turn up the wick on my single turbo setup, I should be pushing 850rwhp. Had a Saleen SC for years, a procharger for about 2 months, love the turbo the most by far.

I love my single 76 mm turbo. While I agree it would be a heart ach to change over the PD blower stuff you have to make your car suitable for a turbo, it may be a good option. I personally have never owned a blower, but as of right now I love the turbo.

It's a brand new item. They still have to tool them up. If you wait you can probably buy one once they fill orders and have spare manifolds
