The "Secret Squirrel" struck at my house this afternoon ...

Hello Guys,

Don't know how many of you remember me being nicknamed the "Secret Squirrel" some years ago ???
The reason I got that nickname was because being Ole-School I never revealed what was being changed on my Bullitt until it was completed.
I even have the T-Shirt guys see below.

Now some of you might be wondering what does that have to do with what came by UPS 2nd-Day-Air this afternoon ???

Here is the Rest-of-the-Story.
I received not long ago an E-Mail that said get ready buddy the "Secret Squirrel" is going to STRIKE in the near future.
Obviously I do know what that meant so no sense in asking any questions.
So believe it or not I did not ask or even attempt to find out what was going to be taking place.
I figured as many times as I had done it the past 7-years to everyone else I should simply WAIT patiently and see what was going to happen.
Oh, the fellow that was pulling this "Secret Squirrel" thing on me is Non other than Tom Cochran from San Antonio, TX.
Left out part of the "Story Guys my Bad",
In my excitement to get this post completed last night I left out part of how this happened.
I think some of you might be wondering where did Tom get that picture from in the 1st place ???
That's the part of this Story UN-Fortunately I left out.
I did get a phone call after I posted those newest pictures on here that Brent White (BRENSPEED) sent me.
http://www.imboc.com/forums/showpost...postcount=9547
It was Tom and he said man if you happen to have the [Original-Files] that Brent sent you I would like to see those.
Well dummy me I said Tom those Files buddy are HUGE but I think I did save those if you want them still ???
It's going to be difficult though for you to view them pal on a normal size monitor.
I forgot (Old-Age-Fellows & ****-Poor-Memory) that he had a Huge Monitor.
He said Terry you have a 24" H/P monitor but Bud I happen to have a Huge 27" High Definition Monitor.
So I can view those files like you and I want to see those pictures as they look so Awesome.
I want to see all the Detail and I can do that with the Original-Files.
So guys I went and looked and I did still have the Original-Files from Brent.
Off they went as attachments so they would be Full-Size for Tom to check out.
I never gave it actually another thought on me sending him those files.
I figured he got to see the pictures Full-Size and that was it.
That's exactly how Tom Cochran could have this Totally Awesome Huge Custom Picture done with all it's "DETAIL" !!!
Sorry guys about me getting over EXCITED and leaving out how in the world did Tom have the ability to have this Professional-Highly-Detailed picture done for me.
Here's Tom in the Tiger Machine at the NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green, KY.
He actually flew up, rented a car, stayed at a local Hotel 30 minutes from Bowling Green where the Drag Racing was taking place.
Actually as I recall he did that twice ...........

Moving this story right along and as always pictures to follow.

I did really honestly try to take some decent pictures guys.
But there is only so much one can do taking pictures in doors.
I guess they are not all that bad really.
They simply Do-Not show all the very fine Detail in the picture Tom had done.
They also don't show the Frame which looks just like C/F (Carbon Fiber).
It is beautiful and no doubt Professionally done.
The whole thing guys is just simply Breathtaking if seen in person.
The size of it is 40" Wide by 30" Tall.

Here is the Old Tiger Machine on the wall.

And below is exactly what the New 2015 Tiger Machine looks like.

Oh I thought it would be proper to wear the TEXAS Tee-Shirt
&
Bullitt Cap.

And here is just the picture and I wish I could have taken a
more Detailed image for you all.

Lastly, Tom C. I know you are smart enough to know how very thoughtful it was of you to have done such a thing.
Especially for no reason what so ever.
It's a person like yourself that makes a another person Smile and truly appreciate a Long-Distance-Friend.
Well to say Thank-You does not seem like enough to say but I do so mean it.
I can share the following with you and others regarding me.
After the heart attack & follow-up-surgery I did make some changes myself on people.
It is very simple actually I have decided to do my very best to let my buddies know I appreciate them.
I also decided that anything I dream up I will do with no 2nd thoughts at all regardless of cost on my part.
I totally realize from the Cardiologist I could just as easily Died that day when I had the 1st heart attack.
That being said I am going to try my very best to treat and do for my buddies anything I want to from now on.

Thanks again Sir,

Thats pretty cool. On the down side, it seems like a lot of people are getting to drive the new Tiger-machine before you do. Don't feel too bad though, I've only gotten to dirve Meghan 2 times since May.

The Rest of the Story that I left out yesterday fellows ...

Hey Guys,

I left out part of the Story above yesterday but here is below what was left out.

I also went back and did an edit and the below text is also in that original post now.

My-Badddddddddddddd

Matt,

I see from your profile you are a Military fellow.
So was I for awhile.
Be safe buddy ............

Speaking of people driving the Tiger-machine.
No-One even starts that Mustang other than George (Shop Manager) & Brent White (Brenspeed Owner).
So No-Worries on others having their butts in my Mustang as that's just not even going to happen.

Well thank goodness this recovery thing and it's 3Lb weight restriction is going away August.
So my Military buddy that damn Mustang trust me will be coming back to my house in the near future. :cheersman:
Sorry you have not been able to drive your's but a few times since May.
I know it's rough having these sort of Machines and not being able to drive them as we wish.

Hang in there man and like I said be SAFE !!!

"1021.81 Flywheel Horsepower" ?

Gabe,

You know I would usually just skip/overlook a post like your's and it's content.

But I'll make an exception.

Come on man what's the point in every post about me or my car with all the ongoing negative comments.

Seriously do you really think it changes anything with me or for that matter anyone else reading what you keep saying.

Trust me I get it, you don't like me, Brenspeed, or my Mustang.
So don't you think you can give it a rest now and go about posting on other members threads that you do like.

Lastly, I seriously doubt this will make any difference to you at all but I'll make the attempt and it's sincere.

Gabe, I'm sorry for whatever I have said to you in the past that has gotten you to the point where you feel the need to constantly degrade me.
If you can and I hope just maybe you might lets both of us Shake-Hands (Internet-Wise) and start a new beginning.
I'll post in a positive way on your threads and in return maybe you can find in your heart something you do like about my Mustang to say something nice.
Lastly, one more time from me to you, sorry for anything that has been said by me to you and my wish is we both can get beyond the past with a new beginning.

Haha, old pic. You should have had them do a wire tuck while you were waiting to pick it up. Not sure you have enough time now though.

Might be an old pic buddy but you look like the Real-Deal in it. :cheersman:

Hey man I'm over doing anything else right now to the Bullitt.
In the weeks coming that damn Mustang is coming home one way or the other.
No more anything as in adding changes/modifications from this end.
If Brent got hold of me and said something was a necessity in his opinion to change that I would go along with.
But from this end I'm way over done !!!

Time, past time, to get it back home and in my garage and out on the USA streets. :cheersman:

Haha, it is never done!

Hey Matt,

Since this is S-197 and we can if we choose to throw around some rougher language if we like.

Bull Shit buddy I'm way past done with mine.
Seriously I have patience when it's necessary and have shown that by remaining cool on this wait thing.
This might surprise the Dog-Shit out of you but come this Sept. that Mustang of mine would be gone a year.
But .........
What I'm not saying or even remotely doing is pointing the finger at Brenspeed for that.
When their customer (Me) in this example keeps changing their mind.
(Before it's even finished much less picked-up)
Then obviously the time frame simply goes to crap.
Well that's exactly what's really taken place with me and my ride.
I am a research fanatic on New things and then I want those new things on mine.
You keep doing that sort of thing and the months just keep ticking by.
Not because Brenspeed is or was constantly working on it everyday.
Because they get into One-Off parts and custom parts from 3rd party vendors.
They (Brenspeed) are a performance shop but guess what they have to get in line just like any other shop when doing custom parts from vendors.
And sometimes what they wanted made from the vendor does not even take place as that vendor has their own priorities.
So then Brenspeed has to take another look and see how to get the results without the custom parts/parts they thought they were going to have.
I could go on and on but you get the idea I'm sure.

If all that took time then my Ole Butt has a damn heart-attack at home which you might have seen that thread on here.
http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122746
Then one has to go through the recovery process and that damn sure takes months at best.

So my man when I say I'm done I'm as serious as can possibly be for now.

LOL,

Getting prepared for the "New Tiger Machine's" arrival home soon.

icon1.gif

Hello guys,

Well been thinking about some things I need once the Bullitt gets back here soon.

I have been looking at aluminum floor jacks for sometime now.
Well I looked again this week and guess what I found on sale.
Harbor Freight which has a store only like 45-minutes from my house had exactly what I really wanted.
I have been looking at the 3-ton ones but the minimum height of them is a little tall to fit under the side of the Bullitt.
So I then went to the 2-ton and they are low enough so just about decided to say the heck with it and go with one of those.
Well I go On-Line and there is a 2 1/2 Ton Aluminum floor jack on sale.
So I call to verify before making the drive and yes we have several on the floor.
Jump in the Mini and off I go to Harbor Freight to pick one up.

They were really nice and did not mind sitting the box in the back of the Mini Cooper for me.

Then my neighbor called me while I was on my way back from Harbor Freight and said.
Hey Terry call me when you get close to your house and I will walk over and lift that jack out of the Mini for you.
icon_smile.gif

He even UN-Boxed it and slid the handle in it so it's ready to go.

So now I can raise the Bullitt up and very easily get to the wheels to clean them on the inside by turning them once they are off the concrete floor.

Right proud of finding this exact one as it is a really nice unit for the money.

I like it! I need one badly. Lol
Doug,

I think you would like having it.
Check on-line with Harbor Freight and see if there is a store near you.
They do ship but then one has the shipping cost and that is not cheap.
Also might mention this to you as another place to check.
Amazon had a lot of choices and I almost went with them for their Free Shipping.
Amazon.com: aluminum floor jack 2-1/2 ton@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41--r1wcUCL.@@AMEPARAM@@41--r1wcUCL
The reason I did not was I wanted to see the floor jack on display with my eyes and not just a picture of it.
As it turned out the one I wanted was on sale also so a no brainer to go get it.

Here is the link to Harbor Freight.
My jack is Part #62309 2-1/2 ton aluminum floor jack.

Man it's sure nice to have a buddy that just keeps on keeping on ...

Evening guys,

Well here goes another story which probably will not Surprise many of you.

I think I'll tell this story this way as it will be much more fitting and informative to you all.

If you recall some weeks ago I received a HUGE picture of my New 2015 Tiger Machine built by BRENSPEED.

I posted those pictures as I was so darn proud of that Huge Picture with such great detail.

That picture was done by Tom Cochran in San Antonio, TX.
And I promise you it was a "SURPRISE" to me as I had not a clue.
In fact Tom called and said Terry you have played the "Secret Squirrel" thing for years on all of us.
This time around I am going to play that "Secret Squirrel" thing on you.
And you feel free to call and ask me any and all questions as you like.
I'll give you the same answers as you have me over the past 7-years.
Meaning you'll get answers that tell you absolutely nothing at all.
badgrin.gif
badgrin.gif
badgrin.gif

Well guys that being said I decided to wait it out and not even try to get Tom to reveal any useful information.
Then a few weeks ago here came UPS 2nd-Day-Air with the HUGE cardboard package.
In it was the 30"x40" huge picture of my current 2015 Tiger Machine.

Well moving right along until this afternoon around 4:30 pm UPS showed up with another large cardboard package.
Yes once again it was from Tom Cochran in San Antonio, Texas.
I thought to myself now what ???
Has to be probably another picture but of what ???
So brought it up stairs and Cathy said open it up I want to see what he sent this time.
So I opened it up quickly I might add but carefully.
icon_smile.gif

In it was another large picture framed exactly like the other picture of the New Tiger Machine.
Only this time the picture was a 20"x30" picture of my new engine.
And the picture has awesome "Detail" !!!
You can see everything in this picture it is so large and like I said the detail is spectacular.

I do want to cover something here with you all that I did not last time on that picture and this picture.
When I speak of the colors being bright and the detail being so totally awesome there is a reason.
When I called Tom to Thank-Him for that other picture of the Tiger Machine I commented on how even the 1000R showed up so clear on the fender.
And the Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood looked like the real deal as if you were looking at the hood in person.
Well little did I know why things looked so great in both pictures until he took the time to explain to me what he actually did.
He uses a software package called Photoshop Elements and has used that software for years.
Tom is actually what one would call an Amateur Photographer and I'm sure that's why he got into also using that Photoshop Elements software with his pictures.
Some examples of what he did on the pictures using that software was making the 1000R actually show up to where you could see it easily.
The Carbon Fiber Detail on the Seibon C/F hood.
I notice on the engine picture I just UN-Wrapped you can easily read the BULLITT Ford Racing Plate serial number etc.
You can read the BRENSPEED 1000HP on the BRENSPEED Custom ID Plate on the driver's shock tower.
The HURRICANE By BRENSPEED on the Roush Supercharger.
What I'm attempting to share with you all is that Tom spent literally hours upon hours with that software to get both pictures to look like they do when seen in person.
They are truly totally AWESOME-Looking guys !!!

So it's very meaningful to me to receive these two perfect looking pictures knowing all the Time & Effort that went into making them look exactly like you were seeing the Bullitt in person and the Engine.

I did not ask what the pictures cost in dollars but I have no doubt they were not given to Tom.
They certainly look like they would have cost some serious dollars to me.
Whatever the actual pictures cost plus the UPS shipping to me is important but not nearly as important as the thoughtfulness of a buddy.

I did attempt to take some pictures of the new Tiger Machine engine picture.
But unfortunately it is next to impossible to take pictures of them so they show what one sees in person.
The pictures you will see are so small compared to looking at the 20"x30" large picture.
So I could not show you what I actually see in person.
You will see only a small image and a poor image in my honest opinion compared to the real deal.
frown.gif
frown.gif

Okay below are the pictures I took.
I did try my best but there is only so
much one can share with these tiny
size pictures.
I also tried to do a few Close-Up's
so you could get a Rough idea of the detail
I see.
Below is exactly what I saw when UPS dropped the package off this afternoon.

1st the "Old Look".

Check out the cute card that was packed
inside with the New-Engine-Picture.
I think it is well worth posting.
icon_smile.gif

I hope my picture of it is clear enough for you to read.

How is that going to work? Getting it delivered on 2 days. Are they going to deliver it, then take it away? So they can turn around and deliver it again the next day? I'm confused.

I thought you were going to go up there and drive it back?

Matt, I did want to try to go up and get it in person.

And then drive it back here but the opinions are that might not be a wise decision with me just getting over that recovery heart thing.
I don't know if that would be a problem for me or not but it is a 16-hour round trip and approx. 1,000 miles.
So maybe it might not be the smartest move for me to do that right now.
Brent contacted me and said He & George (Shop Foreman) wanted to bring it to me.
So after many people saying I should chill and let them I told Brent if that's really what you want to do I'm good with it.

I know one thing I sure am looking forward to seeing that bad boy again and it being here at my house.

And if it will stop freaking raining for awhile to get out in it and just drive the damn thing.

I'm seriously considering driving up and seeing my brother's new 2016 Z-06 Vette he just got a few weeks ago.

That trip is like half the trip to Brenspeed and back.
So I might just do that to check it out on a longer drive than here locally.
I'll drive it here for a bit and if all seems to be A-OK then watch the weather for a clear day of driving North to KY.
Being a retired fellow I can drive it up any ole time and not have to be in any sort of rush going or coming home.
If the weather would be a little on the cool side I would really like to have both windows down and just enjoy listening to the engine & exhaust. :highfive:

[/CENTER]

Joe,

That's the dates Brent gave me for them coming down.
So not sure if he will deliver it to me on Friday sometime or Saturday.
It's an 8 hour drive from them to my house and if they don't get to leave pretty early he might stay at a hotel overnight and bring it to me on Saturday.
I'm sure when the time is close to him making the trip he will confirm which day he will be at my place.

I can't really see them driving here and then turning right around and making the trip back North.
But they might there still young guys so they might not care as they can share driving duties.
Also Brent said he wants to hang-out for awhile so that being the case it might be a two day sort of thing.
