Once Upon - good flick, entertaining and interesting take on "historic" story

Irishman... watched 1 hr and turned it off... slow and boring AF
Joker - well done, not that entertaining.

Ford v Ferrari - Awesome all around

I am going to try and catch Once upon this weekend. So would you say out of those check that one out first since Ford V Ferrari isn't on blu ray yet

I would look for FvF first, but Once is a good second and Joker a good third

Once upon a time was totally f'ed up and what I expected from Tarantino.

Joker was awesome and offered us something new in an over played genre.

Waiting until the 11th to see FvF.

Watched Zombieland Double Tap the other night. I liked it just as much as the first 1 which is my favorite zombie movie.

I watched it right before going to the liberty bowl in Memphis, stayed at the guesthouse at Graceland. That part of Memphis was a bigger shithole then depicted in the movie. Zombie apocalypse and all.

Once Upon a Time was .... interesting. Acting was amazing. Not a huge fan of Brad Pitt but he killed it. Leo as always was awesome too. I enjoyed it, can easily see why brad and leo got nominated for awards in acting, and why it got nominated for original screenplay. Best picture though ehhh I don't know about that. Granted, haven't seen any of the other contenders yet but it didn't move the needle that much for me

I saw this a couple months back. I enjoyed the movie, but it didn't seem up to Tarantino's previous movies. The two leads did kill it though.

Took 3 days, but made it through the Irishman.

I really enjoyed it, thought the acting and directing was great. The de aging effects were really good and impressive. However holy hell was that a long movie. I know scorcese movies are usually long, but this was a chore to get through. I think they could have easily cut 30-45 minutes out of it, especially at the end.

Took 3 days, but made it through the Irishman.

I pulled it up on Netflix. Looked at the run time. 3 hours 30 minutes?!?! WTF?!?! Tapped out right there.

I almost didn't make it through The Avengers: Endgame at 3 hours and like 3 minutes. And I really really really was looking forward to that movie.

I'm not that into mob movies and certainly not if they are that long. I don't get the idolizing and glorifying the mob. Bunch of scum bag criminals IMO. But I digress.

I actually made it through hour 1 ok, it was hour 2 where I was started to feel how long it was lol.

Haha. I broke it up into little over hour chunks over 3 days and just paused it when it got real slow.

Yeah if you are not a fan of mob movies, you would not like the irishman at all. I like the way Scorcese does mob movies though, usually all true stories or adapted from a true story. While certain parts do glorify the mob, almost every scorcese one shows their downfall usually of their own doing.

Could have easily cut 20 minutes from the ending, and easily found another 30 to 40 to cut elsewhere

The Witcher on Netflix.

Watch it. Love it. Embrace it.

Disclosure: It jumps around the timeline, so you sometimes have to think about the significance of what you're watching based on the "when."

But it stars Henry Cavill (Man if Steel). The dude beefed up even more for the movie, and he does a great job with the part.

I enjoyed it. Sucks the next season isn't coming out until next year though. Thankfully the next season of Altered Carbon starts in a few days.

If y'all haven't checked out Patriot on Amazon Prime, it's hilarious and super well-done. Probably my favorite "original" show from Prime, Netflix, Hulu, et al.
