Long story short; I got caught up in an online auction from a towing company expecting to buy a wrecked Mustang with a 5.0 Coyote for a donor, for another project! Well, that's exactly what I did, except this one only has a broken right front lower control arm and some minor body damage. Oh, and has a clear title! For relatively cheap.

So, with that we've decided rather than junk/part out the car, we'll just fix it up and drive it or maybe sell it. The car looks really familiar, but I can't say from where, maybe on this site.

This makes Mustang number 4 in the driveway and 5 in the family!

It’s rather dirty from the trip home.

I’ll probably be asking for some help with this one, as this is my first experience with this version of the S197 and the 5.0.

Things I know I will need:

Replace taillights, both lens are broken. Let me know if you have a set of factory ‘14.
Repair or replace the radio. Had to pull the fuse due to just static that was at full volume and wouldn’t turn down.
Possibly will need to replace the full exhaust system. It appears it tried to take out a crowd but the curb won. Both over axle pipes are bent.

More to come once it’s up on the lift and do a full assessment.

Got it up on the lift tonight. Had to do some sketchy shit and weld the lower control arm back together so I could get it off the trailer.

Yeah, yeah I know! Some dirt dobber welding there! But only needed it to hold to get it off the trailer.

Not near as much damage as I thought under the car. Right front LCA, tie-rod ends, rad support is bent a little and the left exhaust over axle pipe is bent.

RTR springs. Are the particular springs pretty good? I’ve never used any of their products.

Y’all keep your eye out for someone doing a part out.

I need a good right front fender
A front bumper cover
Taillights
Rad support brace

Any of you know if the rad support for an 05-09 is the same as the 11-14?

Congrats on the new (additional) project.
Tail lights I've seen pairs for $700 or so. So $500+ each is probably tops in pricing, keep looking and you'll find a deal.
There's always eBay to check.
Or Tasca parts, a vendor on here.

Thanks! Im not in a terrible hurry for the tail lights, the ones on it work, but look terrible. I’ve seen new factory Ford lights as much as $1500 for the pair. I’m looking at an aftermarket set for under $500 for the pair, and they’re LED and blacked out. I forget about Steve@Tasca, I’ll have to shoot him a PM.

If you're interested, I've got FRPP OTA pipes (no resonators) and FRPP mufflers (M-5230-MGTLA).
Both items are made by Borla, OTA pipes part number 60521 and mufflers are Borla Type S part number 11837

Are they obnoxiously loud and do they pop a lot on decel?
How much do you want for them and where are you located?
Will you ship if needed and how much will shipping be.

One of the things that I hate about the 5.0 Coyote is the obnoxious popping of the exhaust when aftermarket exhaust is installed.

There was no popping at all and the Type S mufflers are on the quieter side.
Items are located in Northern, VA and I'd have to check on shipping.
The pipes and mufflers are rather large and I'd imagine shipping will be a little high.
I'll PM you to work out the details.

It may be that it is too expensive, but if not I’ll pick them up from you. Check shipping them through Greyhound or Fastenal. I’ve heard both are reasonable. I think Fastenal has to be palletized.

RTR Springs are Eibach Pro-Kit springs, I have a set that has RTR, Eibach and Roush stamped on them. They're not bad, certainly better than stock. Just my opinion.

Thanks for your thoughts. I have yet to drive the car. Hopefully this coming weekend I’ll get to install the new LCA on the right front.
