This thread is going to cover my build that will take place over the next two to three months. My plan is to buy everything in the list below over the course of the next two and half months, one mod at a time. I will start with the most expensive items to get them out of the way. In this thread, I would like input on what I might need to add or subtract from the list. The goal for the car is to be very streetable. I WILL be taking this car to the track when the build is done and will work on getting into the 10's. I really do not want to start taking this thing to the track consistently UNTIL I have a daily driver. Anyways, here is the mod list...any input is welcome!

- Livernois 298ci Stroker Shortblock
- Livernois Stage II Heads
- Comp Beehive High Load Valve Springs
- Steel Retainers
- ARP Head Stud Kit
- GT500 Oil Pump
- Livernois MLS Head Gaskets
- 63# Injectors
- BGG Performance 8-Rib Kit with 3.20" Supercharger Pulley
- Meziere Electric Water Pump
- BMR K-Member
- BMR A-Arms
- Spydershaft

I will continue to update what is purchased and what will be purchased next as time goes on...shooting for 560-570rwhp with the 3.20" pulley and dependent upon the tranny holding up, I may throw the 3.00" pulley on there and shoot for ~580rwhp. I already found a killer deal on the Livernois Stage II Heads which I ordered today! Next up, Livernois shortblock in a few weeks!

Is your car an auto or manual? At that power level with an auto, it'll be easy to go 10's, but the trans may not be too happy. Our white car made quite a few 10-second passes with the stock auto though.

The rearend should live... The Shelby "GT800R" has tons of hard launches on a tire with the stock clutch, trans, and rearend and has been 9.90's at mid-140's.

Keep us updated with the build and thank you for running our products! :thumb:

sounds like a nice build but if it is a 3650 trans, i think its only rated for like 360 ft lb... but i have seen 488 ft lb's on one and it is holding, minus one input shaft... we think it was damaged in the first place, the new one is holding fine...

ninja edit: we all posted at the same time... lol

I think JDM has already found what a Saleen can do!!! As well as a ''stock'' 5R55S can handle also. I think it will take a lot of R&D to beat those guys times with a Saleen and probably impossible with a 5 or 6 speed manual.

Nice build though and looking forward to see the progress over the next couple months.

I didnt see JDM put out numbers anywhere close to mine with the amount of boost my car is seeing and my current numbers are with stock heads...who knows, we'll see what happens..I know its not all about dyno numbers but it will be cool to see what this thing will hit...it dyno'd 488rwhp @6.5psi on a pretty "unhappy" dynojet. My buddies car with a JDM stage II kit put down 420rwhp on the same dyno, same conditions. The JDM II kits usually put down 440-460rwhp

There are guys with 600+rwhp running the stock 3650...but who cares, that is not an issue for me as I will be upgrading to a 6060

I will never beat the track times those guys put down with a saleen blower, not even gonna try to hit 9's...plus their numbers are through an auto, I have a manual.

True I think is was told there car put down 604 rwhp and ran a 9.7 at 140, it would be pretty cool to see a 650+ rwhp Saleen car running around. Good luck with your build and hope everything goes smooth for you.

Mickey, I know this is off topic, but what did you change out your racecraft suspension to? I want to sit a little lower with the Saleen and I thought your setup was perfect...
