your 4.10 rear

a few questions if you do not mind:

i assume you needed to shift into 5th for the quarter correct?
is your et that much quicker than with say the 3.55 rear end?
lastly, what was the price of your rear end swap ?

gears are like $150, install will depend on what shop you have do it. Go with someone that knows how to set up a gear. Don't go to the cheapest

WOW, only $150 for brand new gears ?
coming from a bmw, that price sounds incredible.

Yeah the price of gears isn't all that bad. You'll need the install kit as well and do what beefcake said and invest the majority of the needed coin having the right shop do it or else you'll be out alot more than that $150 on gears.

what exactly does a rear (?) sway bar re locate do for the quarter mile?
and how does it affect normal road handling in the twisties?

The only thing the rear sway bar relocate does is allow you to put a 15 wheel on the back.
