iv seen dyno charts where people have picked up around 50+ hp with a stage 2 cam....561-417-5555 is the number for blow by racing talk to chris or john and ask them about the stage 2 lol tell them dillon dollar referred you, may get lucky and geta discount...BBR is a great company the customer service is awesome when my car locked up from a comp cam i didnt even know who chris was and he stayed on the phone with me for 2 hours and even sent me a free tune just to help me out an i never had in the past invested in their company, since then they built me a long block for a great price and they stand behing their work,,,,pretty soon they are going to hook me up with a D1 looking for upwards if 600+ hp![]()
couldm't agree more. they used m90s on tbird sc's and even those were not enough for a v6. the tvs atleast puts 450 to the wheels.Unload the M90. I can't be happier with my TVS.

Don't leave us hanging then? Do you know of a better option? Were big into turbos and I'm still researching the Mustang line. We have two 4 cyl Scions pumping out mid 450 HP. I've heard a fair amount of good things with the hot rod cams and so of the shops that Roush recommended also recommended them. There does have to be a cam that is designed for our blower application. I'd like to be between 450 and 500. I do think I'm beating a dead horse to get it out of a M90 set up.![]()
If you're only looking for a maximum of like 440-450 rwhp than the M90 is fine but you're limited to that unless you spray it as well.
My TVS with 8 lbs of boost made 463 rwhp. 10 lbs 506 rwhp. 11 lbs 525 rwhp. All on conservative tunes.
My only other performance mods that would effect numbers are a Magnaflow catback (Not Magnapack) and a O/R X Pipe.
I bought my M90 for two reasons:
1. It was cheap....$2200 shipped.
2. It's like putting a restrictor plate on the motor. I want it to last and the M90 puts me ast a safe powerlevel that will not exceed 475...which I'm told is keeping it "safe" on a stock shortblock.
I know me...if all I had to do was swap a pulley and pick up more HP....I'd have scattered the motor already.....lol.
Bigger blower and forged stroker in my future.....

at 2200 you're still ahead of the game cause for about 4k you can get the tvs upgrade. so for close to the cost of a m90 you can have the tvs.
I havent' done much checking....wasn't aware there was an upgrade for the M90.

Not quite since VMP sells the TVS for $6,000. That's not the smartest thing to do anyways, here is why.. The best thing to do is just to buy the complete TVS package from a place like VMP Tuning which I think has one of the cheapest prices.

Than you'll have a complete Roush M90 to sell. People are VERY reluctant to buy a incomplete kit and track down the parts needed to complete it. So it'll sell for much less compared to a complete package. Buying the complete TVS, selling your complete M90 will end up being the cheapest.
It's just a slightly cheaper package with the TVS. I don't recommend going this route. See my post above.
uhhhhh. roush has the whole kit for less then 6k, for the m90 upgrade to tvs i believe its like 4k roush doesn't have it on their website anymore. but it was around 4k. so either way the cost is about the same if he were to sell his kit and buy a new one for around 5800 as per roush website

Roush does not include the fuel pump upgrade nor tuning though do they? Now that I think about it I did see roush is offering different "stages" of the tvs but I am not so sure they are complete but then again I am not sure. VMP has kits for a few different boost levels so you can stay on your stock block considerably safely and I believe they are complete kits. If I didnt have what is in my sig already I would def. have a vmp tvs kit.

if he has the m90 he has some sort of way of increasing fuel delivery weather its a bap or a all new fuel pump. not sure either never really looked into the roush systems with much interest.

It's not fact but you seem to know much more than the rest of us. The upgrade kits were nearly $5,000, not $4,000. Have you ever seen used M90s that weren't complete sell? How much did they sell for? A lot of times they don't sell or take forever to sell. Maybe create an account on FnSweet and see what used incomplete M90s are going for vs complete kits but whatever you seem to know what you're talking about.
PS: The Roush M90 does not come with a fuel pump or BAP...
i heard that any more than 450 to the wheels is really stressful on the rods , i plan on a saleen supercharger 10 psi, safely tuned around 420 to the wheels

the saleen blower can make 500 on 10psilol what would 10psi give me safely?
also i dont want to go too much past 420-430 as the rods.
