So long time member and owner of mustang mostly a reader / researcher here and elsewhere.

Previous setup was zex wet kit, tune , x pipe. On et streets car went 12.7 motor and 12.1 on 100 shot. Death came to the 130k drivetrain on 125 shot and my own poor calculations to timing. Result was 2 broke rings and some melted plugs

Fast forward to now and motor is going back together stock block and crank with diamond Pistons, arp fasteners and scat rods. Lower compression for boost and will place a set of breenspeed cams along with on3 76mm setup on car. Fuel will come from returnless stock hat walbro 405(S&h to thank) along with hpx maf and some 47lb injectors (unless I go 60 or 80 before lift off)

Will see how long the 5 speed last me going to try and be nice to it it this is a toy so no doubt it's life will end sometime.

My goal is 500 to 550 reliable and while on3 isn't the best it's bang for the buck getting right here for the near term while I work on other stuff.

Anyway said hi from northeast tn and hopefully I can get some good search function stuff on clutches otherwise I might ask a question

FYI it's a whole lot easier to sell a working transmission vs one that has been destroyed. Have you given any thought to what you will replace it with?

Perhaps a mod could move this for me as I didn't see the intro forum. @ Bruce - gt500 unit most likely.

Thanks for the move
