I am running 19lbs boost now on pump 93 octane,
I have the smallest upper pulley you make and a 10% overdrive lower. the supercharger and elbow have been ported to the max by stiegemeier.

you are probably right on the power I stated.
I have helped do quite a few mods on a lot of GT500's at my friends shop. I must have gotten some builds confused with each other.

At 7,000rpm engine speed you're spinning your blower to 19,150rpm which is past it's sweet spot by a good bit. There isn't any more to get out of that bad boy. You can go with more cubes, bigger cams, huge exhaust, etc and all that will do is lower the boost. It won't make more power. Or go for more compression and different fuel.

Time for a R-Spec.

Department Of Boost;2252821. I would like to build a 5.8L 3v because I fully intend on having the worlds fastest 3v (I'm really shooting for the fastest S197 period). But I'll probably get it done at 4.6L said:
I would LOVE to buy a GT450 style DOB intake for a 5.8.
I am already running one on my car now with a ported 2.3 tvs. I make 650rwhp now. to make more power I have to start spending some serious $$$.
I have a repairable 5.8 block I got for next to nothing. just get the hole in the skirt welded up add 1 sleeve and it's good to go.
now add a stroker crank, good rods, pistons and I can build a 6.2L 3V. I wouldn't have to run a lot of boost to make 1000rwhp. I might be able to do it on pump gas without a crazy amount of $$$ to build it. the largest expense would be the stroker crank.

you can buy cast iron 5.4 blocks pretty cheaply now. add a set of 3V heads, a DOB intake. a take off TVS blower you could make a 800 rwhp on pump 93 octane with nothing exotic or custom built parts, except for the intake.

I'd buy one too

I'm pretty sure RGR does. I know that I saw an option about that on JPC's site IIRC.

Edit:

Like this?

Rotating Assembly
Ford Racing Boss Block 3.700 inch bore
Custom RGR Billet 4 Bolt Main Caps
ARP Main Studs
Custom Spec CP Pistons
Coated Pistons
Total Seal Piston Rings
Low Friction Coated Rod and Main Bearings
Custom Spec Billet Steel Oliver Connecting Rods
ARP Rod Bolts

They dont offer the RGR girdle anymore, not enough people willing to spend the coin.. After a house purchase and all the shit with it and some medical stuff I finally called JPC earlier this summer, in hopes they were still offering it. Trying to decide which way to go now.

I don't remember seeing a girdle from JPC. Only the 6 bolt main conversion with caps????

No worries, I just wondered if I had missed something.

I'm wondering if a girdle that spans to the pan rails wouldn't be the better solution. And I stress wondering. I know some theory on this stuff, but I am no master engine builder.

We could do girdles like that pretty easy.

As you mentioned.. in theory it seems like it would be a great solution. Build it and they will come.

However, I'm really leaning more towards a twin turbo, 3 valve 5.8 now..

Does someone make a good NA "tall deck" 3v intake manifold?

I know.. I thought I remembered Hogan selling one, expensive as hell of course but worth it. Just been awhile since I've looked around.

We did finish ours, $1500 is what it ended up being. Was not built for na though. That's for the standard height 4.6, big bore 3v setup etc, got a few requests for a 5.4 "tall version" just need something here to take accurate measurements off of so can offer it. Took measurements and ordered some cnc plates for the 5.0 as well, going to begin designing a coyote version soon.
