Just got an email from Wayne Geoffrey of Ford Racing and he notified us that Ford racing has released a forged 5.0 crate engine that comes fully assembled oil pan to intake manifold! (intake cover optional) This is a version of the factory engine with forged rods and pistons with lowered compression. Its comes fully timed, assembled, and covered! The engine is dubbed the Aluminator 5.0L 4V and is going to be offered in two versions 9.5:1 compression for supercharged engines and 11:1 for stock compression or NA builds. Ford Racing's 5.0L Mustang "Aluminator" crate engine is a modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 that uses advanced features like Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) to deliver big power.
