Wiseco pistons 11.5-1 compression
Billet Oliver Rods
Stock Crankshaft

We will be installing this unit pretty soon.
See how much power we make on the wheels or fortune!!

We plan on keeping the boost down to about 15 or so.

Good question. So what would that short block cost a customer? Just like that?

this exact motor would be about $5549 because is has billet oliver rods. If you went to a H beam its about $750 cheaper. i ill make a simple break down.

Base Price is $4795 with H beams
ADD $750 for billet Oliver rods = $5549
-$1000 if you send us your block and crank

Yes its a RGR motor

That is actually a very good price for the quality components being used. Any thoughts on what the stock crankshaft is good for Rwhp wise? Is the stock crank cast or forged?

I need to read up on the 5.0---but being a modular motor, is there any difference in the blocks (4.6 3V vs 5.0 4V) other then bore?

It's not a modular. And other than the bore center, and bearing journal diameters, nothing else is the same. It's similar in design, yes. But nothing interchanges.

Ok, that makes sense---I was looking at the bottom end in the pics and while the main caps looked similar, the oil pan rail and what I could see of the block looked different from what I remembered from my 4.6.

Is the rod length / journal the same size as the 4.6?
