Frpp intake on top of d1sc ho

Ive hadmyd1sc ho, cams and other stuff for a while and i finally found a deal on the frpp intake manifold! well today i installed it , though it was not as much fun as doing the deletes let me tell you it was worth it!!! i had to take a ball peen hammer to my supercharger piping b/c it moves the throttle body location just a bit and the stepper motor was interfearing with it but very minor thing. first test drive after install and i think i blew off about 10,000 miles worth of tires, if you are having any doubts about this manifold DONT, this second gen does not do the black lung thing everyone has been talking about (and im at 13/14 lbs of boost. im very happy and cant wait to go back to the dyno X)

Dont romp on it until you get a dyno tune!!! At 12psi on my turbo setup i was way lean at wot after I installed the manifold. I installed it on the dyno. And then had the tune fixed immediately after. Be careful!

Btw if you missed my thread with my frpp manifold results, at 12psi I had peak gains of 24rwhp and average of 30rwhp+ from 3800 rpms and up.

Knew I remebered seeing this, here is someone elses results with a d1sc swapping to the frpp manifold/tb. Peak gains of 38rwhp.

Charge motion control delete plates. Deletes the butterfly valves on the stock manifold.

YOu should get rid of the butterflies and go with deletes anyway. There has been at least 1 person that had these butterflies break and a piece of metal drop in the piston.

Its a must have mod period imho, but with a power adder car yes hands down! its a big safety issue as well not just gaining a little power.
