How hard can you launch these cars?

I'm curious how hard everyone is launching their manual trans cars.
What RPM have you left the line at?
What tires are you using?
What gears?
What modifications?
What's your best or average sixty foot times?

My best sixty foot so far is 1.80 with 3.73 gears, stock tune and M+H 28X9 drag radials Left the line at approximately 4,500RPM with 32psi, didn't heat the tires and the tires stuck hard.

That's a good thread and I've looked it over before. But it doesn't answer my questions. I really want to know what rpm people are launching the manual trans cars at and what mods they did to prevent the car from breaking parts. I've seen at least two people on here who have broken thier input shafts. I'm trying to figure out what the limits of that car are and what performance I can expect by pushing my car a little farther. So yeah some of the information is in those charts but not all that I'm looking for. Thanks!

1.50-1.53 60' times

5500 rpm launch
cai, manifold back exhaust with off road x. lca relocation brackets, 28x10.5x15s et drags, zex nitrous kit, factory diff with 3.73's

on the 11th pass cutting bottom 1.5 short times the spider gears decided they didnt want to play anymore.

Two Step Set at 4,800
M/T ET Street Radial 275/40/17 lowered to 18psi
3.90
D1SC Wastegated Procharger
Best was a 1.71 60 foot

A ton of other variables to into it, ambient temp, track temp, track prep, length of burnout, etc. That combo happened to work for me on that given night, it doesn't mean it would work the same the very next day.

I want to get slicks for the track, I just don't know if the limited sidewall on these drag radials are doing my 60 justice.

Whoa schuhank! Those are some great short times! Did the spider gears take out any other parts? I think this same thing happened to a guy with an '11 or '12 at Atco a couple of weeks ago. At least that's what he thought it was as he was loading it on the flatbed. He had drag slicks and I have no idea how he was launching it. I wonder if somebody makes stronger spider gears? Im also curious how the stock two piece drivehaft holds up. Has anyone broken one, and at what level?

Before you launch to hard I would weld your axle tubes.

I launch at 5500 on dr's and get 1.76 60's. I'm 100hp or less than you though.

At one point I had NSR cams, LT's, Catted X, CAI, Control Valve delete plates, AL DS, 4.10:1 R&P, Trutrac LSD and UDP. Made about 332 HP and 314 TQ at the wheels. With Mickey's DR's at 20 psi on a day when it was 70 or warmer, I could bounce off the 7k rev limiter at the line and barely spin off the line with a low 1.7 or high 1.6 60'.

This video shows that. I ran a 12.95 pass in this video. Car weighed 3900 with me in it. It had 100% of the interior. No weight savings at all. Even the factory wheels.
