Good luck again.
I wish I had your knowledge!
Is that what you call it? LOL
I got the short block together yesterday, but did not get the heads on. I decided to use my ARP head stud nuts to run the studs down, not a very good idea as two of them didn't want to come back off and I had to use my Dewalt cordless impact to remove them thus destroying the threads and had to order two new studs and nuts. I called ARP and have two coming 2nd day air so they will be here from California by Friday. I will get back at it next weekend.
FixedBilly, it might be time to make it a race car and buy a '15!!!!

I got to the bold part and went 'Oh no!".
Billy it might be time to put it back to stock and buy a '15!!!!

No, I install them at 4 7/8" from the deck, which is about one turn out, so there are threads above the nuts when installed.I really hope you aren't leaving the studs bottomed out when you put the heads on are you? I believe my builder had me back them out a turn after I put them in.
Good luck and I hope it works out ALOT better this time.
Anyone know where to get a 11mm 1.5 thread chaser? I need to clean up the two holes that I am replacing the studs on.
Edit... I have one of those too lol
Thanks I will check them out.MSC industry has what you need
