Thought the completed product deserved its own thread.

Car is a 2005 Mustang GT. Forged 8.5:1 compression shortblock. Stock H/C/I/TB/exhaust manifolds/axleback. Literally a stock 2005 GT with just lower compression and forged internals.

On3 Performance turbo kit with MP T-70 upgrade. PMAS HPX meter.

Only made a little under 13psi on spring pressure on the dyno, which was around 500/510 at the wheels with 20 degrees of timing. We added about 4psi boost which ended up at around 17psi and it ended up making 551/558 SAE corrected (like 574/581 uncorrected) with 18 degrees of timing in it.
16psi pull (you'll notice fuel is a bit lean. Added a little fuel after this pull but power stayed the same):

16psi vs my older 14psi blower pull:

Is it just the camera angle or do those pipes hang wayyyyy low?

They are pretty low. Not a big problem since they are directly in line with the wheels (so they won't catch on speedbumps etc) but I might put slightly taller front springs back in it.

if you don't mind me asking, what did you give for the turbo plus the t-70 upgrade?

Where is that? I know you were dealing with HiTech before why the switch?

I like both places, really. Casey (who primarily tunes at APS now I guess and is a friend of mine) wanted to tune it for me. APS is in Shakopee.

I think it was a little under $2500 with the MP T-70, the PMAS HPX maf, and shipping. Add around $500 for misc stuff and tuning, obviously not counting fuel system.

Anyway nice numbers man.

Thanks! It looks like it spools kinda slow on the dyno since it doesn't load it nearly as much as driving on the road does in 4th gear, but I see full boost by around 4000rpm in 4th on the street. I don't have drag radials (F1 Supercar 285/40-18s) and with 3.55s 1st and 2nd are useless, 3rd is a wash (hooks sometimes), and it pulls really hard in 4th. Granted this is on a 30-40 degree day, but my centri blower was never like this.

So you feel the car more powerful now, turbo, or before when it was centri powered?

I asked if it felt, not is it more powerful on the dyno.

I didnt say it made more power on the dyno, look at the power band and torque curve compared to the centri, thats what you feel. Then again maybe its something everyone needs to experience for themselves. :)
