Why did you choose diamond over cp? i am in the process of doing the same thing and wanted to get your thoughts?

from what i heard that cp and diamond are better choices out there....

i had a set of cp and somehow they failed... not sure why but who knows...

Modmax said that they would use diamond to make the pistons and since I have heard good things about diamond decided that would be fine for me. Never really thought about cp's I guess after they mentioned they would use diamonds.

did modmax have the best price, or did you not shop around for the best price?

i called diamond direct and its going to be something like 1700 for coated 10.5 compression pistons with rings and upgraded wrist pins.

I didn't call around. I got them through modmax as I had already been in limbo with this stroker kit for about a month and a half. It was going to be the same price no matter what dish I went with though. Can't help you on the upgraded wrist pins. They are very helpful and are only a call away.

Exactly, I got a quality piston from a reputable company, in the stronger alloy. I have bought and sold parts for an engine build too many times already, I know what i want and am focused now.

Call Dale at Modmax and he will give you a good price.

Modmax treated me right after a bad situation I would definitely recommend them.

I just not use cp pistons after what happened with no lean conditions on the motor. You will be happy with diamond for sure.

When you talk to him. Mention you talked to Eddie about the cp piston problem. He should remember that problem. It was a bad one with out getting to specifics. Good luck sir
