I definetly want a set of 2618 pistons. Too much money in an engine to skip out on any details

Bumping this to see if anyone else has any other links or pistons that would work.

Thats a custom piston for that stroke. Which means $. If you had the 3.8 stroke you could use the saleen cp pistons.

Since livernois is $999, I would get a quote from cp, diamond, L&m etc to see if anyone is cheaper.

Well livernois carrys pistons for this stroke and modmax sells this stroker kit so i am going to give them a call and see if they offer a set of pistons for this rod length.

based on the research I did when I had my motor built back in 2010 - not all pistons are created equal. Whichever one's you chose, I'd just suggest you compare all the specs before you order a set. There are a lot of things to consider.

i'm currently shopping for pistons too and was thining about going with dss. for one their lead time is way less for a custom piston over cp. i'm also looking for 10.5 compression pistons though. cp is a 5-6 week lead time on these. dss is about a week to get them.

So if I read this correctly....

You have (I assume) a stock deck height 4.6 block (8.937"), a 3.75" stroker crank and 5.95" connecting rods. That means you need a piston pin height of no more than 1.112" to make the piston zero deck or less.

The rods are 5.950.

Just got off the phone with modmax and they would use diamond to make a set for me. They said it is $733 for the pistons and would take about 2 weeks

just a FYI - about the timing - as I recall Diamond may close for a week or two in August. I think I had an issue with mine taking more like 3 weeks to get because of that.
