I recently did multiple jobs on my 05. I adjusted the bands on the transmission, being very careful to follow directions exactly as written. I also installed Wilwood brakes on the rear which required pulling the rear axles.
Now, the car will not move when in reverse. In the video, I show that with the transmission in neutral, the rear axle spins freely forwards by hand, and the driveshaft rotates. To rotate the axle in reverse, I need to use a wooden dowel for leverage, there’s a chunking sound from the rear end, and the driveshaft does not rotate with the trans in neutral. I have no clue what’s happening.
Any ideas?
