I am doing some testing, and can't go into alot of details at this time. But need you guys to answer some questions.

Have you ever run tubes in your slicks due to leaking?

If so, was the leaking from them being screwed?
From the sidewalls(where your #'s are). This may have been from small cracks not visible.
From a cut in a new slick?

Did you screw the slick to the rim with the tube in there?

Any info will help with a test we are doing. After we get finished and if results are good, we will post some info that may help you guys out in the near future. Thanks

Montreal Qc,
My Welds had tubes in them when I had the 26" tires on them.
They weren't screwed though.
I removed the tubes when I went to the 28" slicks and I don't leak enough air to need to add any during any event although I do need to add before I go back to the track again.
I never bothered to see where the air is leaking from but I'm assuming from the bead.
