Timing Chain Marks

I am currently putting my motor together and installed the timing chains on the motor. Just out of curiosity i rolled the motor over several times and the marks didn't line back up untill I rolled the motor over multiple times is this normal or should the marks line up to the timing chain links every time?

completely normal. as long as they do eventually line up
