I like UPRs dual setup. With the braided lines and ford fittings it cant be beat. I wouldnt worry about the media getting sucked into the intake. Very unlikely. I will be ordering uprs setup soon myself. Gabe let me guess, you like jlt?

I'm using a JLT on the passenger side, a unit I bought used for cheap money, and I like the set-up.

However, Billet Tech is soon gonna be releasing their own catch cans for the Mustang, the original design of the catch can that UPR and others copied, and I plan on running their set-up as soon as it's available.
The Mopar guys are loving them on their Chargers/300s/Challengers/Magnums/Jeeps, and even the Pontiac GTO guys get to enjoy the quality.

You guys are gonna be blown away once BT finally release theirs

$100-$150 for a oil/air separator is insane. Same basic principle as a water/air separator for your shop air compressor and those are sold at Lowe's for $10. But because it's a specialty product it commands 10x the price. It's a freaking cup with some baffles (if you're lucky) and two fittings on it.

I just bought an Allstar performance for $65 and am going to use AN with push lok hose. I'll have less than a JLT separator and a lot better looking

I completely agree catch cans, particularly anything using the type of filter media most of them like the upr uses, are overpriced. You want better filtration? Then get one of these instead. It will filter better than the upr and the billet tech.

The upr design will catch a lot of oil but no separator I'm aware of will stop it all. The reason I got the upr setup is ease of installation. No need to fab any brackets up or do any drilling. Just screw the mounts on, connect the hoses, and you're done.

I just finished removing the APR Performance 2.5" splitter and replaced it with an APR Performance 5" splitter. I also decided to block off the lower grill with the intent of improving the aerodynamics. This should help prevent unwanted air... under the chassis . I also believe that blocking off the lower grill will allow the splitter to work even that much better. I still need to paint or wrap the aluminum block off plate. However, that can wait until Monday.

I think the plate looks good bare. Do you have to paint or wrap it or is it just preference.
