Trying to help out my neighbor, who is going through some tough times, I bought this Currie Enterprises Hot Rod 9" housing. It has 3" diameter by 3/16" wall tubes, but doesn't have ends installed yet. It currently has 4-link brackets intended for a standard width '32 Ford frame, which I would have to remove.

I would probably back-brace this housing, however I don't want to add unnecessary unsprung weight if I don't have to.

Any thoughts?

Finally sold my 4:10 ring "n" pinion gears last Friday. Ran into someone I know from our local car cruise events who's been looking for 4:10's to put into his GT for which he uses specifically for the track.

Tried to install my cat-delete pipes.
First nut I went to remove, I rounded off.
Completely took the air out of my sails.

Done with that project for a while.
Maybe over the winter I'll try again.

PB Blaster is your friend. I soaked em for a good 6 hours and even resprayed 3-4 times during that time. Just drown em.

I did. 2 days ago I soaked them. Drove the car later in the day.
This morning I soaked them again, a couple hours later I tried to undo the first nut using a long extension from under the hood and using my impact, it quickly rounded it.
FML.
Didn't want to spend all day screwing with rusted nuts, gave up for now.
