Cool. I assume you just added eye bolts and reinforcement plates?
It looks that way.

Mark, make sure you get a piece of safety-wire or a tiny cotter pin in the lock hole of the snap-link. At least in our region, NASA tech was cracking down on that in post-race safety inspections as well as at the annual tech...
I was looking to put a set of racing seats in my car with either 4 or 6 pt Harness. My car is not a DD but I would like to use it on the weekends every so often. I was told by a reputable source that only the standard 3 point harness is street legal and you could be ticketed for having a 6 pt harness. That could be a problem in my area because I've come across number of police run seat belt check points. Has anyone encountered any problems in this area.

....Schroth makes a harness that is street legal, as it has the red "press" button to release it.
.....Retain your stock belt and use it on the street, and just put the harness on when you go to the track
Seats arrived today. They are the Sparco Fighters. Gotta say, they look great, are very light and miraculously fit perfect.View attachment 46255View attachment 46256View attachment 46257
Those zoomed in spots are on the sticky material. Camera sucks, but they are grippy.
I'm pretty well pleased. I got the airbag simulators on the way. I went with the $55 ones because they have the correct 2 ohm resistor already in it as opposed to buying the ford part that has a 10ohm resistor that would need to be changed. Just waiting on my seat brackets to get here. 2 sliding brackets and 2 seat bases ($350), 2 seats ($1140) and the 2 seat simulators($110) total $1600. Not bad.
Thanks for your help Gmitch.
Sounds like a good deal. Post a review when you get them installed I am curious to see how it goes. Also who did you purchase the seats from?
I'm waiting on Sparco bottom mount bolts and the airbag simulators. I already have the passenger seat out of the car. As soon as they get here I will finish it up.
Passenger non-power, leather seat weighs 50lbs. So there is a 20lb savings over the new seat and bracket. Interested to see the driver side weight as it is a power leather seat.
I purchased the Wedge Seat brackets with sliders from http://wedgebrackets.com/master-bracket-guide/
Seats were from Amazon.
