My buddy was on his 600rr the other night behind me I hit wot 1,2,3 he said giant flames shot out abd sounds like a cannon.. I think it's bad ass but could this do any harm ?
nah just some fuel it happens, I hear a pop too don't know if it's a fireball till I have someone tail me with a camera, but I hope so :beerdrink: I believe the slower you are with the wotbox the more of a pop you will get (more time more fuel) but that's just a theory, I really get a tiny pop on each upshift.

How do you like it so far?

Sounds like the WOTBOX should interrupt fuel and ignition for it's shifting function.

These things have got my interest but I'm not so sure I'm real crazy about the backfiring.

I have actually experienced this by accident, didn't even think I would get to tell this story but last month, I got a tune from a tuner in which he can enable the two step on the tune for my car... well it cuts fuel when you kick the clutch in.. and my wotbox cut's spark, it feels like shit cutting both, just like shutting the engine off and it takes longer to recover from both instead of just spark.
It feels like you popped the clutch when the engine gets back to it's fuel and spark.

I am sticking with the wotbox on this for sure.

Interrupting both at the same time would just eat the speed out of your run, and now I have proof of it lol

There is no way to tell the car's computer to simply hold at a certain rev without bouncing off a limiter or playing tricks with fuel and ignition? Seems like that would be the best way to approach the problem.

The stock tune holds an RPM just fine, but you can't just hold your foot full throttle on the floor, also all my tunes (and most aftermarket tunes) for my car can't hold and RPM due to pedal sensitivity, I just tap my gas and it will eventually rise to redline, so there is almost no way of me holding a steady RPM currently.

1. (too much crap)if my tune was stock I would, hold the clutch in, hold the gas at like 3k rpm, let the clutch out slipping it and also feather the gas lightly to full while I get traction.

2. (perfect) with a 2-step I sit there pedal on the floor and all I have to worry about it slipping the clutch out right and never take my foot off the floor till after the traps.

I rather cut spark that fuel any day, now that I know what a fuel cut feels like compared to a spark cut I will never want to fuel cut anything.

Yes thankyou very much. I was missing the critical piece of the picture - holding the throttle down. Now I feel stupid. lol

So to be clear this device cuts spark or fuel or both?
