Heh...I'm still n/a for the next 2-3 weeks so I'm ok for now. My off-road replacement pipes should be on my doorstep when I get home today so I'll probably be installing them this weekend.

Just don't lay on the two step for more than 3 seconds or something.
Not true, necessarily. Fuel in the exhaust is fuel in the exhaust, it's gonna go boom.

N/A vs. FI has nothing to do with this one. Seriously, dude, stay off it until you have that offroad midpipe on. Ask me how I know.

So it's not a good idea to get the WOTbox if I still have the stock mid? Even with the no lift shift it could mess it up?

It's not a good idea to use anything that inhibits spark if you still have cats. Fuel in there is bad. At least a couple guys have have blown engines to show for that. I got lucky and only have two completely melted sets of stock cats... one more WOT run on the last set and I would have had issues.

Hey boys, had my wot box installed all spring and love the thing, hadn't really been using the two step much because i hadnt gotten in any good races from a dig.

Recently though ive been getting my car ready to track it again, and sometimes i am having trouble getting the two step to engauge, I put the clutch all the way in just like it says, then followed quickly by the gas all the way down, now it does work sometime but not others, ive checked the wiring and all the troubleshooting tests they recomend... has anyone else had this problem?? is it just sensitive??

I feel like im doing the same thing when it works and when it does not, maybe its just in my head and im not holding it to the matt long enough?

any help is appruciated.

Yeah, I had to disable the "Lockout RPM" feature through the software and then I had no problems after that. I think the issue was that my rpms were hanging a bit when I was lighting the 2nd bulb at the track and if the rpms were too high, the 2-step won't engage.

Heh...wish I had vids of it. I'm in the process of swapping over to my off-road pipes today so if my neighbor is free tomorrow(it's raining here today), then maybe I'll be able to get some vids.

Well, even after taking my cats off, my car is dead silent when using the no-lift shift. No popping or anything. I also checked my cats and they look perfect and I have been messing with the 2-step and the no-lift shifting as well.

I think im having the same problem, i do have a little bit of hanging at idle, So i can disable the lockout rpm just by hooking up the usb to the laptop?

That would be awesome! thanks alot!
