Hm well I did some further testing with a multimeter and for some reason the usb to db9 connector I have is jacked up and wont transmit power to the light. Im gonna try picking up just the connector and wiring it myself. GR frustrating I want a cool new toy

Good idea. You could even lose the case and stick it right in the AC vent. And your right sure does beat a $100 shift light.

Works just like the limiter and 2-step. you can grab an LED flash light at any store like others have done with the one LED.
Take the batteries out, push the LED part out of the front, empty the click button part on the end and wire pins 2 & 6 to the serial, put it back together and you're done :)

:thumb2: It's kind of too bright right now I think I need a vacuum cap or some tint lol, if I put it in the AC vent I think it would be fine as it doesn't blind me but lights up the whole interior and I definitely can't miss it, I love that it flashes rather than just lighting up.

Guys,

Just completed the wiring & installation of the WOT Box on my 2010 GT. I ran through the initial steps (KOEO) to make sure everything is working properly. So far no issues -- the LED sequences are correct for the relevant procedure. The only exception is that my TPS voltage is reading 1.45V with the pedal up, instead of 0V. Is this normal, or do I have an issue?

I haven't actually "road" tested the box yet, (i.e., 2-step, rev limiter, and no-lift functionality) to see if it actually works correctly -- I want to wait until I get a response to the TPS voltage reading.

Thanks,
Mitch

Oops my apology, I didn't see post #194...

I'm assuming this is normal since fdjizm's reads 1.43V.

My car refuses to throw fireballs with my wot box. I don't know what else I can do. The no lift shift works great on the other hand so I know the wot box is working. I'm guessing its the exhaust leak my orx is causing so i'm probably just goint to put my stock h pipe back on tonight.

Mine doesn't either. And guess what... I don't care. I didn't install it to get fire out the exhaust. What's next, a giant wing on the back of your car?

So I've been thinking about picking up a nitrous kit for my car, but would I still be able to 2step launch the car? I want to use the hsw controller for the nitrous but how would I keep it from spraying until I actually launch and not while I'm bouncing off the 2step

If you configure it correctly, it won't activate the window option for the nitrous till you let go of the clutch anyway. (haven't configured it but from what i've read) the little box is pretty smart :)

Hm I will have to talk to hsw and see what they say, cause I really want to keep 2step and no lift shift and still use nitrous

The only way to do it is to buy the WOT box nitrous add on. I would contact N2MB about this and not HSW.

Well what I like about the hsw controller is you can control nitrous by gear, hook a wideband up to shut it off in a lean condition etc but I guess I could get over not having the hsw microedge controller. Ill check out the n2mb controller add on for the wotbox too
