Sweet, do you launch like that and does the boost maintain?
Yeah, I launch like that. I'm not sure whether the boost stays level and then grows or if it dips first, but it feels fairly constant. I really need to do a data playback after a run, which is easy with the Nexus gauges, I just haven't done it yet.

Yeah my boost dips for a second after let go, so im going to find the right rpm and time to hold it to see if it will just pull and maintain the boost. Not that i will be able to keep traction through this of course lol.

yeah, mine holds as long as i hold the clutch. no problem. it all depends on how much boost mine will build i think depending on how how the manifolds are at the time. i have seen as much as 9-10 psi sitting at the light.

i have mine set to 4.5 or 5 k, i dont remember. i hold it for 3-5 seconds depending on how fast the boost is building and when it hits 5psi , I go!

Getting the timing perfected (when to start the 2-step) while waiting to launch at the drag strip is an art... I've not perfected it yet.

I've been starting the 2-step as soon as I get the first of the 3 amber lights and pop out the clutch on the green light, of course. I'd like to start it earlier so the boost could build up higher, however I also fear that if I don't have the amber light yet, it could be a WHILE (holding the 2-step) before the lights come on and I may get a pool of gas in my cats!

I'm pretty horrible at RT's but I just go for test and tune and leave when I'm ready.
I should try to get a good reaction time so I can do some bracket racing though.
I can't remember ever being on the two step more than a half a second before taking off.

Yeah Frankie, I mostly run T&T too, but I guess I'm subconsciously programmed to go for a good RT.

^^ YUP...I'm aware of that. Although mine are hi-flow metallic cats & SHOULD be OK, I still play it safe and only hold the 2-step a couple of seconds.

After passing inspection, I've been thinking of throwing an off-road X-pipe on her... ;)

I'm looking for one too but with my boomtubes it would be WAY too loud. I would need some kind of chambered muffler.
It sucks because I have my car sounding just the way I want it. :( but when I put the procharger on I will be more concerned about the cats.
I can always get an inspection sticker anyway, pick up dry cleaning, get milk, buy inspection sticker. done. lol

So i tried it again this morning and same thing it holds for like 4 or 5 stumbles lol, builds around 4-5psi and then just keeps revving up and makes a pop. Weird I was looking over the software functions and see nothing that would change how long the 2-step holds?

There is a setting for your throttle position , check that! If it's set too high then you may have this issue. I think it's suppose to be around 3.5 volts but don't quote me on that!

I've also had my clutch switch pop off the clutch pedal before under the dash!

Call them up and see what they can do for you. they should be able to send you another cable, mine had numbers on it, here is a screenshot of my current settings.

Originally it had alternate rpm checked, don't know why.

That makes sense willy maybe its the tps threshold voltage box, if the voltage goes up past what its set at it disengages maybe.

do a screen shot with your clutch pused in and another with your clutch let out.

if your TPS is set too high, like +3.75, what may be happening is sees 3.75 when the pedal is all the way down, but if it goes below 3.75, the wotbox will stop working. so see just how high it is actually set.

think of it this way, for the WOTBOX to work,it needs to see 2 things......
clutch voltage high enough to indicate the clutch is pushed in
gas pedal at WOT (above what ever voltage setting you have in your settings)

I emailed nm2b, I will check clutch in/out voltages in the morning and take some screen caps. See whats going on.
I have to do this with the car running right?
