That looks much better. Glad you found it.
Yea, I was starting to get worried. I don't like starting a new motor with fueling issues. I tried as much as possible to keep the RPMs up during these 5 starts and will do so ring seating tomorrow. I wont be able to do any 3rd gear pulls till next weekend though when I have my Bogarts back from getting the spacers removed. They are having some issues doing the rears. I am on my sons 18" stock wheels with worn out Pirellis since he now has my 20s! LOL

Nice thing is now that the issues are sorted out I can feel how well the car revs and am really excited to get to the REAL tuning next weekend. I may try to go to the track to do it so I can get it done faster. Manuel is really good at being available if he knows you are at the track for tuning.

I made two pulls on the car today on the drive in 2nd gear. It bogged hard around 5200 rpms. Seems to be very rich and got a P0175 code. I sent Manuel the log and now have a new tune file to test in the morning. Just trying to sort out the small stuff so I can make some full pulls next weekend. My dreaded P0340 and P0344 codes have come back as well. I will worry about them latter though. Last time it was the crankshaft sensor.

I think this fucking car hates me more then my wife hates the car!

I have crank shaft sensor issues again and the P0340 and P0344 codes of death, this is like blue screen on the fucking computer...

Did you retain your RF noise suppressors when you did the wire tuck?

Yes, all is the same as last year, besides the C/R, ported heads, and ID2000s. This seems to be something else though. This has been a "Set the car on fire day"! :thud:

In the past I have had issues crop up when doing wire tucks/ECU re-locations. These are a god send:

Yes, but after tracking down the crank sensor issue last year the car ran a long time till the fuel tank issue and all was well. The only reason the crank sensor issue took so long last year was because I was thinking the codes were battery or alternator related due to the codes (P0340 and P0344). I think I am past any wire tuck issues by now.

Wiring is a bitch like that sometimes. Just the right......or wrong combination of wire routing/bundling and you will get freaky ECU stuff going on. Ford spends a shit ton of time working all of the "noise" in the harness out.

It's a combination thing. Everything can be fine and then your alternator starts working better/worse, the harness is routed a little differently, a ground(s)change slightly, etc and all hell breaks loose. I keep those RF suppressors around in my box of goodies for just suck instances.

I ran into a RF problem on a Ducati race bike I built. I chased it for an entire season. It almost killed me a few times. I couldn't figure it out. One of my customers who is a Ford electronics guy suggested the RF thing. It fixed me right up.

I later traced the problem to the voltage regulator over heating because it couldn't dump all the power the generator was making and not using (no lights or street stuff and always at high RPM). Then it would send spikes through the wiring harness which would freak the ECU out. The RF suppressors "fixed" it but it was just a band aid (on that worked). I ultimately solved it by moving more air over the regulator then found someone to make me a custom generator that didn't make as much power.....and it saved a few pounds.

Just an example of pulling your hair out over a "moving target" of a problem. It took me forever to figure all that stuff out.

Good luck man!

Grounds are good, power is good. This is what I have done so far and my findings. I swapped the injectors side to side before finding that 7 and 8 were swapped, swapped o2 sensors side to side, swapped the MSD coils back to the factory ones, and now in these two logs are with the injectors as they where in the "test" log and the "test two" is with them swapped side to side. When I did the log labeled "test" I didn't notice a change when I pulled the connector on the COP on #7 then I swapped the injectors and didn't see a change on #7 or #4. I think there is an issue with these ID2000s I bought used. I think they should go to ID and be tested. I am lost. These are idle logs with both banks pegged lean. The drivers side does vary some. The down spikes you see are me pulling connectors to check for idle change. I did notice the o2 sensor volts are closer to each other on these logs vrs the prior ones.

Need to borrow my id1300's? They are brand new (should have shipped to me today). They should make at least 1000 hp on corn. More on race gas even with base pressure around 50-60 psi.

Are you running e85 with those id2000? Was the previous owner? There are some bullshit things you have to do with those injectors if you run e85 with them. They could be sticking

ID1300 are clean sheet design with stainless parts so they do not have problems with e85. Letting the e85 sit in the id2000 evidently is a big no-no. I had a long conversation with Injector Dynamics about it and they are very upfront about it.

I don't want to say who I bought them from because he got them from his tuner and was very clear with me that if there was an issue with them he would take them back or work with me. I will send you a PM.

Yeah, not saying there were known problems when they were shipped.. and probably not. They very well could have developed a problem after they were run and allowed to sit.. if e85 was used. Injector dynamics specifically says you have to run gas thru them if e85 will be used and sit for just a short time (think more than a week).

I will see what Manuel thinks after looking at the full logs.
