Why? I used the BP modifier method when I tuned my HPX maf.
Isn't that the only way to get it to recognize more than 63lb/min of air flow? BP modifier and scaling the MAF or by scaling displacement, inj, etc.
The problem resides on assuming that some condition/limitation you may face is valid to everyone else, this is an S197 forum, what applied to your strategy on a EEC-V doesn't apply here, hence why I call it bad info.
Only 01-04 PCM's, when they switched the way airmass is handled in the strategy have that limitation AND even there, it depends on what you are doing to need it, because you changed the binary point you may not need to scale the tune at all, only when you reach the other hardcoded limitation you would do so, even depending on setup you may not even need it.
Diablosport information regarding MAFias is wrong and they should have explained it a little further (if want to check what applies here or not, here is a link:

Also, you can peg an HPX, BTDT, depends on mods and housing sizes, that is why the existence of the HPX-E is justified. BUT, people that read this, not every sensor is proper for everybody, having the correct sensor is really important here, big sensor on a big housing is a mistake too.
