Didn't read the whole thread, but here's what it took to get my 08 GT 5M into the 12's.

C&L Street, Borla Stingers, MAC 'off-road' Prochamber, Coast Alum DS, MT Streets, and a Tillman Speed Dyno tune. I was putting down 294whp and 312trq and running 12.9x @ 107-108mph w/ 1.9x 60'. I was boging bad off the line.. and could never get the launch down right, but I only had this setup for maybe two trips to the track (5-6 runs) before falling on a good deal for the Whipple.

With just a C&L Street, Prochamber, Stingers, and the tune (street tires and no Alum DS) I ran a best of 13.1 @ 107mph.. so with a better driver I'm sure the car could of been in the 12's.

This thread is full of FAIL!

All it takes to get one into the 12s is a CAI, 93 tune, some DR's and a good driver.

After reading the first page, I thought I'd piss you guys off some and tell you that I ran a 12.999 in my automatic with intake, tune, and full exhaust, stock EVERYTHING else.

Boost controllers seem useless to me, it's like adjustable pedals, everyone puts them all the way

i ran 13.3 completely stock, but i did have perfect weather that day. i ran 13.5s consistant when completely stock with 2.2 60's which is horrible. havent been to the track since i put mods on my car except the 1/8 mile and i did improve .2's from an 8.6 to a 8.4 (which was my best) i ran 8.5-8.6s pretty consitant with a 2.0 60' which is way better. im sure ill be pushing 12s if i ever get a chance to go back to the track

In "theory" I should be knocking on 12's. Haven't gone to a 1/4 mile yet. I run 8.2's in the 1/8th with no sway bar, o/r h, cai, udp's, delete plates and 91 octane tune. All this with drag radials lol. Its all in the driver though. I was running 8.5's with this set up until I learned to launch the car. I still know there's more room for improvement but I doubt I could squeeze an 8.1 out of it. We'll see if powershifting helps :evillaugh:

I'll post back with updated when I finally visit a 1/4 :thumb:

Depending on where you are in the 8.2xx you may be there. Good luck.

wow...popular thread. I guess this is one I can finally join.

mac axle back
pypes off road xpipe
mail order tune
original paper filter
3.31 gears
Dr's that made the car bog to a 1.92 60' and it went [email protected] without me weighted 3450 that night and i'm about 170. Now the car has 4.10's so i'm shooting for 12.5's only change besides gears is mid muffler system maybe a new paper filter.

With just axleback and everything else stock it went 13.36@104 with 1.96 60'

Quickest I have witnessed is a 12.9@107 with a vmp dyno tune and K&N CAI on stock peralli's, guy had stock 3.55 gears and untouched exhaust.
