Bruce ...

I bet it sounds awesome at those Higher RPMS.

There is no way it is not going to be a Strong running Machine !!!

Thanks guys. I'm happy with it. The power is right where I had hoped it would be.

Nice Bruce. When does the blower go on?

:poke:

Not this time. I've had enough combos to know when the power level is acceptable. This has plenty of power. It's a lot of fun to drive but not out of control. It just feels strong.

It's got just about 400 miles on it now. I think it's broken in, lol. The track will be open in about 6 months.

It would feel stronger with a Paxton/Vortech force feeding it! :boobies:

Awesome numbers Bruce!

Just because I'm curious, why did you base your cam off of the 127500 specs instead of the 127600 specs.

I'm leaning towards copying this setup in the near future.

Any guesses on what it will run?

It depends on who drives it. If I could get into the 11's I'd call it good. I'm a test n tune guy, not a serious drag racer.

That is an excellent power curve.

Enjoy it!

Thanks. It is a pleasure to drive. It really feels like the stock motor did with a Whipple HO and 3.675"? pulley except it seems to come on a little stronger.

You two are evil.

I had a set of 127400 cams and planned to run them but came across these on ebay for a good price. I spent some time plotting the valve timing events and it turned out that the valve events had been covered during retard testing with the 400s. In a nutshell these cams when locked out covered what the 127400 did with 0 and 10 degrees of retard. Coincidentally the most airflow from the 400s on the top end came with 10 degrees of retard. My car is always a driver first so the 113 lsa was a bonus too. I decided to take a chance and bought them. I have no regrets. If I had more ambition I'd retard them another 3 degrees and see what happened on the top end. That would require taking the front of the motor back off and I'm not too interested in doing that right now. Besides, the motor runs plenty strong.

No video, sorry.

Great numbers Bruce. Congrats on the build!

Awesome numbers Bruce!! So how does it feel driving it?

Holy crap Bruce that thing is awesome!

Thanks guys. It feels very good. There aren't any stumbles or hiccups. It drives like a stock car with more power.

I kind of already miss good N/A power. I didn't really have it with my 3v but i remember how fun my fox body was.
