Five lbs did the trick for the time. It was simple and easy to install.

  • M122 Supercharger with DOB manifold
  • Dyno'd at 460 WHP/ 440 TQ
  • 10-11lbs
  • Blower, Detroit Rocker Blower cams, long tubes
  • MT
  • Installed all this at 140k miles, still going strong at 157k. It's had plenty of WOT pulls and 1st and 2nd gear burnouts at 6500 rpm.
Edit: I forgot, I installed an Exedy Mach 500 clutch after the stock one gave up around 147k.

Powerhouse Turbo Kit Precision 6776 Turbocharger

60lb injectors/Ford Racing GT500 pump kit/8-9lbs of boost

488hp/442 ft-lbs on a dynojet

4 years, 20,000 km

Charge motion delete plugs/Roush UD pulleys/Exedy Mach 500 clutch

Broke the spider gears in the stock diff at the track. Upgraded the oil return line from -8AN to -10 AN as it would smoke when it was cold out. Did have to adjust couplers and clamps from time to time.

Best ET: 11.42@121mph

Motor was pulled out and built prior to any failure. The Built motor melted a piston.

He asked for 3v data.
Hey the Paxton goes back a long way. At first used by Studebaker and then the company stayed in business with Nuclear Subs. Once Ford came up with Fuel Injection, Paxton reissued a kit just for the Mustang. The Paxtons are sort of related to the Studebakers. I know you hate useless information and I am sure you would make Thomas Edison and his friend Henry Ford very proud. Think of it as "What did you have to eat for dinner last week" kind of question and answer.

On slicks? For street tires, I was under the impression that the stock gears can handle far, far more power than you listed.
325/50-15 drag radials, and it happened on the dreaded dead hook.
I love the stability of the drag radials but I'm going back to a bias ply with my next tire-unless I smarten up and put an auto in it.

M122 w/DOB manifold; '13 Heat Exchanger/pump; IAT's run from a low of ~80 to ~130 summer with a nominal of about 100. Depends on time of year. I've seen winter averages even lower when warm.
whp/tq - Est 450/430 - never had it dyno'd. Tuned by Lito.
Boost ~8 - 9lbs
Mods- stock engine/exhaust - lots of handling mods - upgraded struts/shocks/brakes/bracing/etc....set up as a well handling grand tourer vice drag/race.
AT
Installed at 130K; running great ever since.

The newest thought process is to limit torque to under 450 ft-lbs as the key to keeping the stock rods inside the block. Horsepower doesn't make that big of a difference.
