Oil pan removal

Rack and pinion nuts won't come off . Even tried using a large pole on the ratchet / breaker bar for leverage and impact ...... Trying to drop the oil pan , any ideas ? - H

Strong_j is over too and we can't get this damn thing off!

Can't you loosen the motor mounts and jack he engine slightly to pull the pan out?

It's an electric impact gun. U think we need a more powerful one?? I really don't feel like snapping off bolts tonight. Lol.

The two main nuts that's holding the steering rack on. They're nearest to the front of the car.

Yeah I didnt just raised the motor enough and loosened/lowered the k-member some and it came out fine (stock pan). For aftermarket, had to really lower the k-member a LOT more, and finally got it back in.

Alright well I guess I am lowering the KMember tomorrow then .

Sorry unfortunately that's the only way I know... And probably the only way your gonna get it out without making it difficult to put back in...

I tihought the nuts for the steeting rack are welded in and you have to take the bolts out from the top for the rack?

nope meant nuts , not at the house but how accesable are the bolts ? compared to those nuts
