I have the same problem on the 1-2 shift, anything over 3k RPMs is basically impossible to shift into 2nd gear. However, I never miss 3rd gear like many of you have said. My car is a mild bolt on GT with an MGW shifter which hasn't relieved the problem. I posted a similar thread to this on TMS, afraid I have a bad synchronizer. They mentioned a TSB was out so perhaps you could look into that.

/\ the 1-2 usually is the syncro from what I've read. I never had the 1-2 issue, for me it was 3-4 believe it or not.

WOW.....glad I found this thread!!

I just purchased a LL 05 GT bone stock that is having the same shifting problems. I thought it was the syncros...but sounds like that may not be the case. Mine shifts smooth as silk normally driving...but try to speed shift (at any rpm) or just shift quickly above 4k and it grinds like hell.

Also...if you downshift to 2nd at high rpm it'll grind.

How sells the torque limiters?

its a fairly simple install I'm told, I'm not much for turning a wrench, but the k-member brace you install may be an issue w/ the BMR - I just don't know..... sorry.

seems like it would be simple enough, just connecting a rod from the chassis to the transmission on both sides :) I may pick up a set if the k-member isn't enough.

According to the CHE site...you MUST have the CHE K-member brace to use these.
