URGENT! Need a passenger side cam ASAP!

We pulled the VC off Luke's car yesterday and discovered one of the lobe's has a small scratch on it.....anyone have their stock cams that would be willing to donate/sell the passenger cams?

We put everything back together yesterday with a couple of new lash adjusters/followers and the tick seems to be coming from the oil pan/tranny area which has us stupmed.

Might be worth it to drop the pan and inspect the rod bearings sometime...

Do you have to lift the engine any?

If we do that isn't that bad; disconnect the motor from the motor mounts and jack it up a little but the tricky part would be where to jack the engine up since the oil pan is what I usually use.

Yeah that is my concern too, although I was talking to my dad and he said a bearing would knock and not tick. The also suggested that the throw out bearing might be the culprit. I don't know how though

Do you think a spring swap is neccessary since the sounds isn't coming from the head?

Wont hurt to add stiffer springs since your boosted, can't hurt.


Coulde be chatter from the pilot bearing/clutch as it wears down, didnt think of that but now that you mention the sound coming from the bottom that could be a possiblity, still stock clutch right?
